While watching your favorite game in the stadium, whether one’s team is losing or winning, food is always a part of the time spent there.
Even though they are expensive, one always purchases them to keep ourselves occupied and also as a comforting factor. But there are certain stadium foods that one must avoid! Which are the worst stadium foods?
Stadium and food and drinks
It is great fun to watch our favorite games live. Whether it is football, soccer, or any other game, one is tempted to go to the site of the match and watch our favorite team and player playing.
And there are always food and drinks to accompany us and keep us occupied. Moreover, these foods also comfort us and provide us with the energy to cheer our team.
There are food outlets in stadiums that vend these foods and drinks. Though these foods are expensive there, one cannot overcome the urge to buy them.
Besides being costlier, these stadium foods can also be unhealthy. Different stadiums have come up with some unique types of foods that are not sold anywhere else.
But they can be bad for our health and weight. Which are the worst stadium foods that one should avoid buying?
BBQ Reese’s Sandwich at the Kauffman Stadium in Kansas, Missouri
This sandwich has pulled pork with BBQ sauce, peanut butter cups, and bacon bits. But it is quite unhealthy and has too many ingredients most of which are highly processed.
Burgh Katsu at the PNC Park, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania
The chicken katsu or panko chicken is fried chicken with panko bread crumbs. Additionally, there is also ham here with kimchi and hoisin in a toasted roll. There are also mini pierogies. Too much stuff to make sense!
Fowl Pole at Choctaw Stadium, Arlington, Texas
This is quite huge. There is breaded chicken almost two pounds in weight with a bed of waffle fries. Moreover, there is a honey sauce dip. It can be shared between two people.
Pickle Poutine at Rogers Center, Toronto, Canada
This has fried pickle straws with peanut butter in a gravy form! There are added bacon bits, cheese curds, and fresh dill scallions. It can terrify anyone!
Fluffer Nutter Fries at Fenway Park, Boston, MA
This has sweet potato with fries and added peanut sauce, crushed peanuts, cilantro, and fluff sauce. This gets excessively soggy in a short time.
Veggie Burger Sub at Sofi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
These do not look good and there was a lot of ill-talk about this food on Twitter last year. It looks weird and is long and sad-looking. The sub has pickle-covered veggies in a subform. Besides the look, it is over-priced. Not worth it!
Apple Pie Egg Rolls at Comerica Park, Detroit, Michigan
In this, there are apple pie fillings in a wonton wrapper. To add on, this is deep fried. No doubt, it is delicious but also very fattening and bad for the arteries.
