Accomplishments

Collin took part in several Men’s Physiques contests and the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. He finished third in his first provincial competition and tenth at the Canadian Nationals.

Collin also competed in MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where the Canadian was successful in taking first place in several regional and provincial competitions. He also launched a company and amassed a sizable social media following.

Collin developed an e-book that, as soon as it was made available, became incredibly popular and detailed how to build great abs quickly.

Biography

Young, Adulthood, and Childhood

Collin was born in 1988 in Canada, where he showed an early interest in sports.

He began weight training when he was just 12 years old and played football in high school from the ages of 13 to 17.

“I started working out and doing weights when I was 13,” the Canadian claimed.  Also, I became hooked on weightlifting as soon as I started to see physical changes in my body. I began boxing when I was 14 years old with my father, a skilled boxer.

He continues, “During my early adolescence, I was smaller than other kids my age, which made me a target of bullying. I didn’t realize that my high school had a football team or that the squad included a weightlifting program until I was 13 years old.

Weightlifting Begins

Collin committed himself to work out for the following two years and persisted in asking trainers about health and nutrition, how to gain muscle, what exercises to perform, etc.

He started lifting weights more seriously after doing some study and soon began to gain weight swiftly.

Collin stated, “In my senior year, I weighed 170 pounds and was recognized as my league’s MVP for the most valuable defensive back as well as my team’s MVP for the most valuable defensive back for setting a league record for most interceptions in one game and one season.

MMA

Collin started to concentrate on competing in grappling tournaments and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after finishing college and football, and he was successful in taking first place in various regional and provincial competitions.

Later, he tried MMA and Muay Thai kickboxing, but he was forced to stop due to an injury even though he said he enjoyed doing so.

Since he wasn’t sure what to do next, Collin claimed that he was initially confused.

Before Competitions

Before he began his professional competitive career, Collin acknowledged that it was challenging for him, but it was ultimately worthwhile. “Many may not know what I did before going into the fitness sector, but for seven years I worked as an oilfield welder in Northern Canada,” he continued.

I’m frequently asked if I miss it or if I regret not pursuing my passion for the fitness sector sooner.

No, is the response. Simply put, it was miserable to operate in conditions as low as -60 degrees Celsius while isolated hundreds of kilometers from civilization and sometimes for up to 33 days straight.

However, the reality is that working with a wide range of individuals from different parts of the world who came to Alberta, Canada to earn “Big Oilfield Money” to support their families back home to working with ex-criminals was a good thing.

“While working, I saw wolves, bears, moose, elk, and saw F-18 fighter jets pass over my head and break the sound barrier.

I also acquired a ton of useful skills and trades that will help me in life. The bulk of other tasks in life starts to seem easy when you’re working 12–14 hours at -45 degrees Celsius.

Days of Competition

Eventually, Collin discovered a new love: The men’s Physique competition. He began looking into entering the competition and was astounded by “the commitment it needed to obtain such physiques.”

As he admitted to himself, he became quickly enamored with the way of life: “Nine weeks before a provincial competition, I started my contest prep and I placed third in my first provincial event and qualified for Canadian Nationals, where I placed tenth.

I became addicted to the lifestyle and loved competing and physically challenging myself because of the improvements I could make to my physique during my contest preparation.

As a Fitness Icon

Collin has a sizable social media following and is now a well-known fitness star. He provides a range of diet plans and exercise routines and is also a personal trainer.

The Canadian emphasizes the value of maintaining humility in the face of success and says that assisting others gives him the most joy.

He claimed that today, seeing others gain confidence and better their physical appearance as a result of his counsel, is his greatest reward.

Training

Collin Joseph believes that work ethic is the most important factor in training. He works out twice a day, typically doing weightlifting and plyometrics in the evening and cardio in the morning.

Joseph works out every body part once a week on average, but he might work out a particular body part up to three times a week if he feels it needs more work.

He believes it is seriously harmful to the body, which most of the time requires proper levels of fat.

Additionally, Collin says that the food is just as crucial before and after the event.

He thinks that it is unhealthy for many athletes to desire to maintain the body they brought to the stage.

Collin likes to eat healthily all year long because he wants to maintain a healthy weight.

Collin Joseph eats a lot of eggs and egg whites, as well as oats, brown rice, veggies, chicken, turkey, and other foods.

Because he believes everyone should maintain a healthy balance in their lives and not become overly preoccupied with always eating healthfully, he occasionally allows himself a cheat meal.
