The Baked Feta Pasta is the ideal approach to elevate the basic dish. We love to put our unique spin on popular recipes. Utilize this adaptable recipe to create your dish using the ingredients you have on hand.

Ingredients

CHEESE The star of the show is feta cheese. It tastes salty and sour. It comes in blocks and is easily crumbled.

When other ingredients are combined with melted feta, such as garlic, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar, the result is delicious (use your imagination). The entire 8-ounce block of feta is used in this recipe!

Cherry or grape tomatoes in liberal amounts balance the feta wonderfully for a tart, salty, and fresh flavor. Red bell pepper can be included to provide more flavor.

Pasta and spices Utilize the pasta of your choice without hesitation. We prefer medium-sized shapes like farfalle, rotini, or penne. You can season whichever you like, but we like our unique Italian seasoning mixture!

Variations

You can also include diced zucchini, mushrooms, or freshly chopped spinach. Although this dish calls for vegetables, it may easily be turned into a protein-rich entrée by including chicken, shrimp, or Italian sausage.

Making Baked Feta Pasta

You can make this recipe all year round because it’s so simple and adaptable.

  1. Toss tomatoes with garlic and olive oil.
  2. As directed in the recipe below, place a feta block in the center of the tomatoes and bake.
  3. Cook pasta till al dente and drain, saving the cooking liquid.
  4. Add pasta to the baking dish with the tomatoes and feta mixture. As necessary, stir and add the pasta water.

We like to use plenty of tomatoes and fresh herbs like basil and parsley as garnishes because this meal is VERY rich.

Advice on Making the Best Pasta

  • Avoid overcooking the pasta since after it is added to the casserole dish, it will continue to cook.
  • Before baking, tomatoes can be chopped lengthwise in half or left whole.
  • For a unique touch, try substituting Greek Seasoning for Italian Seasoning.
  • Serve a little dessert along with some delectable meatballs.
