This dairy-free avocado smoothie recipe is wonderfully creamy and made with banana and coconut milk. A quick and energizing vegan breakfast!

I came up with this recipe for a creamy avocado smoothie after a recent trip to Dallas. While I was there, I went to a popsicle shop where I fell madly in love with this dairy-free avocado lime pop.

I eventually succeeded in recreating it this summer—in the shape of a smoothie!

There’s no need to panic; this avocado smoothie tastes nothing like guacamole. It’s more like a tart lime sorbet.

It has a great creamy texture from the avocado and banana, which makes it a really filling breakfast or snack. It’s so delicious that I might even have it for dessert!

What you’ll need to prepare this delectable, creamy green smoothie is listed below:

  • Obviously, avocado! This smoothie is packed with good fats and has a great velvety texture thanks to it.
  • Bananas that have been frozen add sweetness and increase the creaminess of the smoothie.
  • For a delicious, tropical flair, use frozen pineapple.
  • I adore adding spinach to my smoothies to boost their nutritional value. I assure you that you won’t be able to taste it.
  • Lime juice and zest give this smoothie a vibrant, fresh, and tangy flavor.
  • I merely add a splash of maple syrup for added sweetness.
  • Coconut milk: This ingredient gets the blender going, gives the smoothie a delightful coconut flavor, and completely eliminates the need for dairy.
  • Vanilla Aloha Protein Powder – It is made from organic plant-based components like pea, hemp, and pumpkin seed protein and contains a whopping 9 grams of protein in each scoop.

Combine everything, taste, and adjust as desired. To add more protein, I like to top my glass with a few hemp or chia seeds.

VARIATIONS IN THE AVOCADO SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Although it is adjustable, I adore this recipe for an avocado smoothie as stated. Feel free to test out various versions. Listed here are some of my favorites:

  • Alternate the greens. Use half a cup of kale instead of spinach.
  • Change the milk. Although I prefer the taste of coconut in my avocado smoothie, you may use almond, oat, or regular milk if you don’t have any coconut milk on hand.
  • Replace the fruit. Frozen mangoes can be used in place of the pineapple in an equal amount.
  • Insert herbs. Fresh basil or mint would be excellent in little amounts.
  • Construct a smoothie bowl. To make this smoothie extra-thick, cut back on the coconut milk. Add granola, fresh fruit, hemp seeds, chia seeds, or nut butter to the top and serve with a spoon. For dessert, you could add a sprinkle of cacao nibs or chocolate sauce on top!
