If air frying, make sure there is enough space for the air to flow. If necessary, cook in batches.

Peanut oil is the ideal cooking medium for deep-frying egg rolls.

  1. Heat a saucepan to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and add 2 inches of oil.
  2. Egg rolls should be deep-fried until they are crispy and golden brown; space them out in the pan equally to ensure even cooking.
  3. With a slotted spoon, remove the fried egg rolls and set them on paper towels to dry.

Oven baking

  1. Egg rolls should be baked for 8 minutes at 350 degrees F on a baking sheet coated with pan release.
  2. Turn them over and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden.

Variations

  • For a creamy bite, add some cream cheese to the egg roll wrapper.
