Personal trainer, artist, and social media sensation Meggan Grubb hails from London, United Kingdom.

On March 30, 2016, she started publishing images of her daily life to share her love of fitness with her friends and family.

Biography

Unhealthy Way Of Life

Megan was born and raised in the UK, where she was often reminded by her mother of how “lazy” she was. She adored the party scene in her adolescent years and as a result, her diet wasn’t very nutritious.

Megan eventually realized she was unhappy with her body while on vacation with her friends since she hadn’t given any thought to how harmful the meals she was eating were.

She had observed how self-conscious she felt in a bikini and felt unattractive in comparison to other women on the beach.

Bringing About Change

She then recognized that her time spent partying wasn’t having a positive impact on her life. Megan was aware that she needed to pursue a goal and make an effort to be successful.

“After partying for a few years, I didn’t have any direction, and this was the point where I hit a brick wall. I went out before I even started college; I worked at a bar and was always in this setting where you can do whatever you want.

“After returning from vacation, I can still clearly recall looking at the photos and asking myself, “OMG what am I doing, what is the point of this, and what am I accomplishing here?’

“I started to believe that believing “she looks better than me” was pointless unless I was willing to take action to change it.” Meggan Grubb.

Due to her determination to succeed, she started vlogging and chronicling her fitness journey in 2015. She made the decision that focusing her goals on sculpting her dream physique would give her something positive to aim towards.

Beginning A Fitness Journey

Meggan initially entered the gym without any guidance. She incorrectly assumed that lifting weights would cause her to become “too muscular” because she knew nothing about weightlifting or nutrition; at this time, Meggan was unaware that adding lean muscle to her frame would require hard effort and adhering to a strict eating plan.

She avoided using any weights and simply used cardio equipment as a result.

She was working hard at the gym to burn calories, but because she wasn’t modifying her diet, she wasn’t seeing any improvements. In the end, she concluded that she needed to change and started adhering to a balanced eating plan.

“I would exercise once or twice a week, but I was unaware of the significance of nutrition. I recall once consuming a large bag of chocolate following a workout without realizing that I was essentially undoing all of my hard work.

Getting Ideas From Social Media

Meggan began to feel more confident in her athletic prowess after becoming more informed about fitness.

Her lack of understanding caused her to concentrate on her abs and spend most of her workout time working her stomach; yet, it took her some time to learn more about training techniques in the gym.

Meggan didn’t even know where she was going wrong until she started following athletes on Instagram; she noticed a ton of female fitness models who didn’t even pay attention to their abs when lifting weights and still managed to sculpt a 6-pack and slim figure without turning into a “woman-hulk.”

Meggan started to alter her training regimens as a result, starting to incorporate weightlifting sessions offered by athletes on Instagram.

This ultimately led to Meggan eventually seeing slight changes in her physique.

Soon after, she set out to build up more lean muscle in her butt and legs to sculpt a physique resembling that of Tammy Hembrow, who served as her main source of inspiration.

“Around 2015, I started to desire to put on muscle and develop a curvaceous, feminine body.

When I first moved in with my partner, he was surprised by how little I was initially eating, so he started to make meals for both of us while also teaching me the value of calories and carbs.

Getting Into Personal Training

Meggan’s development inspired her to pursue a career in fitness and become more active in the community by 2016 when her confidence had significantly increased and she had finally added lean mass to her body.

This caused her to reflect on where she had come from and all the mistakes she had made in the beginning, wishing she had had more direction before finding her feet.

As a result, she had the urge to get a personal training certification so that she could assist others in their pursuit of fitness.

Meggan obtained a position as a physical therapist at her neighborhood gym after passing her exams and spending six months obtaining the required qualifications in addition to her degree.

At this point, my love for fitness began to grow. While still a student, I decided to pursue my interest in fitness even further by studying personal training.

Therefore, I completed a course that was offered over 1 weekend every month for 6 months, and I also worked as a personal trainer at the gym where I started my training. Meggan Grubb.

Star Of Social Media

Meggan decided to start her own Instagram account after assisting multiple customers in realizing their fitness goals, and she started using it as a channel to connect with women who felt uncomfortable lifting weights in the gym.

Meggan uploaded training videos in the hopes that others would use them as a starting point for their fitness journeys, and it was successful.

Meggan had garnered popularity for her Instagram account by the end of 2017.

She developed a website offering customized training regimens after gaining a sizable following on social media to help individuals all over the world achieve their ideal figures.

Training

Meggan always aimed to create a figure with a full butt, slim legs, and curves. She emphasizes lower body workouts especially because of this.

Meggan prefers to concentrate on HIRT sessions, employing circuits to keep the intensity high, without spending hours in the gym.

She does between 8 and 12 reps every set, feeling that her body responds to this rep range the best, with 3 to 4 sets per activity.

She enjoys doing HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) for cardio since she thinks it is the most effective way to stay fit in a shorter amount of time.

She does, however, restrict the amount of cardio she incorporates into her exercises because her goal is to add lean mass to her butt and legs.

Unlike other female athletes, Meggan doesn’t believe that it’s necessary to consume 5-6 meals per day.

Not only that, Meggan doesn’t keep track of her calories or macros; instead of religiously counting calories, she ensures that she keeps her intake down by measuring her carbs and sticking to lean proteins and green vegetables.
