Biography

Weight Issues

ObesetoBeast, also known as John David Glaude, had a challenging upbringing. John battled his weight all through high school and throughout his youth.

Around the age of 20, John reached a peak weight of a little over 360 pounds. The only time John ever left his home was to go to work, after which he would return home and watch TV.

I just did that, and I detested it. I could not possibly sit there “big and happy.” I detested it a much. I genuinely didn’t believe I could change, either.

There didn’t seem to be anything I could do. There were times when I wept myself to sleep because I was terrified that I was killing myself every time I ate. The ObesetoBeast

John frequently made an effort to lose weight, but he always gave in to his old routines. As John says, it was “a never-ending loop.”

One evening, John was watching a TV show at home when his life took a drastic turn. John connected with several of the folks on the show who had lost weight effectively.

According to John, that evening, something “clicked” inside of him and he realized he was going to succeed moving forward.

“At that point, I understood that I was torturing myself and that the only person who could make me change was myself. I was the only one who could prevent my behavior from altering.

I knew that I needed to do this for myself or I was going to die—at what, 35 years old? perhaps 450 pounds? Although I was terrified, I recalled thinking to myself, “I might as well try my hardest since I have nothing else. The ObesetoBeast

A struggle with his thoughts. John started weightlifting and carefully monitored his diet. He worked alone and didn’t receive any assistance.

Making a life change

After years of struggles and uphill battles, John was able to achieve his goal of losing over 160 pounds of excess weight. More significantly, he claims he showed himself that he was capable of accomplishing anything he set his mind to.

But because of his rapid weight loss, John also had to deal with loose skin. It upset him greatly at first. But with time, John grew to fully embrace his loose skin and even took pride in it, viewing it as his “battle scar.”

Getting Popular

John made a conscious decision to share his message with the world to encourage others to undergo similar transformations.

He set up several online personas and uploaded images and videos documenting his remarkable metamorphosis.

John’s first significant online success, however, came after he posted a video titled “My Biggest Insecurity: Loose Skin.” In a short period, the video became viral, making John famous online.

John’s fame has since increased much more. The ObesetoBeast tale has touched people’s hearts, inspiring them to embark on their transformative journeys toward a better, happier life.

“I just felt like I was existing when I was overweight. I didn’t anticipate the future, and in all honesty, I don’t think I thought I had a bright future.

I can now state with confidence that I eagerly anticipate the future! Life is full of opportunities! Work for change; avoid shortcuts.

And never forget that anyone can become a beast with enough willpower and effort!
