Biography

Young Years

Ryan, who was born in North London, England, was a highly active child. He played a variety of sports as a child, including cricket, athletics, soccer, and athletics, and he naturally had a fantastic physique.

He had exceptional athletic talent, but he didn’t start going to the gym until he was 18.

Start of Fitness Journey

Ryan quickly developed a liking for the gym after beginning to lift weights and shape his body. At this moment, he decided to pursue his interest in fitness by obtaining many credentials within the sector.

Around the end of 2008, Ryan started reading muscle magazines and following bodybuilders on social media. He now had the want to develop a physique akin to his role models.

First Competition

Ryan, at 20 years old, came upon a commercial for a workout program in 2009. He entered the competition when he learned that the winner would be highlighted in his preferred muscle magazine.

Ryan impressively left the 2009 FAME UK Championship with the championship medal. Although he had already achieved his goal of becoming a fitness model, he was just getting started.

More Achievement

After winning his first contest, Ryan contested the 2010 FAME UK Championship a year later. He was able to repeat his accomplishment and win the award once more.

At this point, Ryan decided to focus on obtaining his Pro Card.

Card Pro

Ryan received his chance to pursue a career as a professional athlete that same year. At the 2010 WBFF Pro Qualifier in Canada, he entered the stage and won over the judges.

He took first place when the contest was over, earning his WBFF Pro Card in the process. Ryan had fulfilled his aim of receiving his Pro Card at the age of 26.

At the 2015 IFBB New York Pro, Ryan competed.

Change to IFBB

Ryan participated in 4 shows as a WBFF Pro competitor, finishing in the top 3. Ryan, however, opted to train to become an IFBB Pro since he was looking for a new challenge.

To achieve his goal of becoming an IFBB Pro athlete, Ryan competed in UKBFF shows for the following two years, from 2013 to 2014. It didn’t take him long to gain this new professional milestone.

Ryan was the proud owner of the 2014 UKBFF British Finals trophy. He did not, however, merely leave with it.

At the age of 30, Ryan obtained his IFBB Pro card after just two years of hard effort.

IFBB Professional Life

A year later, Ryan competed in his first IFBB Pro event, the 2015 New York Pro, in the Men’s Physique division.

Even though he lost, he gained useful experience in his toughest tournament to date. Ryan stepped up his game at this point, eager to establish himself.

Ryan came back to the stage the same year more powerful than ever. He hoped to outperform himself as he competed in the 2015 IFBB San Marino Pro.

He did that. Ryan outperformed all predictions and won the competition, earning his first triumph as an IFBB Pro competitor.

Training

Ryan works out five days a week so that his body may rest on the weekends. He likes to do 12–15 repetitions in sets of 4-5, occasionally adding supersets and drop sets.

Ryan trains one muscle area at a time, as opposed to other athletes, because he feels that his body responds best to this.
