Who is Savannah Rose Neveux?

Fitness model and certified personal trainer from Los Angeles, California, Savannah Rose Neveux.

She spent her childhood accompanying her father to many bodybuilding and fitness competitions where she developed a fascination with the competitors’ physiques.

Short Career of Savannah Rose Neveux

Savannah Rose Neveux wasn’t always a picture of health and success, despite her passion for fitness. She overindulged in booze and fast food during her late teens and early twenties. She was consequently dissatisfied with the course her life was taking.

Savannah made the decision that enough was enough after her third year of college. By signing up for a gym and making significant dietary changes, she completely transformed her life.

Her life has since changed for the better thanks to a nutritious diet, months of “sweat and tears” in the gym, and a career in the fitness sector.

“We make time for the things that are important to us. Make yourself a priority! We all get the same 24 hours in a day.

A one-hour workout is only 4% of your day! I know how tempting it can to skip the gym because you’re busy or tired. But even 20 minutes is better than nothing!”

Biography

Early Savannah Years

Savannah Rose Neveux, a native of the “City of Flowers” in Los Angeles, attended fitness conventions with her father every year while growing up admiring bodybuilders and other sportsmen.

Savannah was always attracted to these athletes, but she didn’t start living a similar lifestyle until her junior year of college. She decided to begin her fitness journey because she was unhappy with how she looked and with her “state of mind.”

She established a pattern of unhealthy behaviors throughout her first years in college, including weekend binge drinking and “overeating” processed meals.

She eventually understood that to get in shape, she needed to make a significant adjustment in her life.

This is Savannah talking about her decision to make a change;“After 3 years of partying hard in college, I woke up one morning after an exceptionally crazy night with a pounding headache, mysterious cuts and bruises all over and the rolls of my beer-gut squishing together.

I realized ‘I can’t do this anymore’; I deciding to drop my negative, unhealthy lifestyle and create a new one.” – Savannah Rose Neveux

Making Fitness a Part of Her Life

Savannah purchased a gym membership after deciding to quit living a “health-wrecking” lifestyle. She started weight training and carefully monitored her diet, eliminating the “junk foods” and booze she had been consuming for years.

This choice has gradually but surely paid off. Savannah claims that the first six months were the hardest, but once they were over, she was in the best form of her life.

Impacting the Fitness Industry

Savannah was motivated to assist others in making the same changes once she realized how she could completely transform her body in a matter of months.

Combining her recently obtained PT certification with her own experience in the gym, she launched her training programs. She also launched her blog on fitness and wellness, which she used to expand her internet visibility.

Since then, she has developed into an “internet fitness star” who gives her followers daily tips on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and become in shape.

Training

Maintaining Interest in Exercise

Every other week, Savannah tweaks her workouts, as she puts it, “to keep things fresh.” The number of repetitions, rest intervals, and drop sets is a few of the things she frequently modifies or adds.

She occasionally goes so far as to alter her entire weekly schedule; she might train 3 days one week and 7 the next.

“Occasionally, I’ll put together an endurance- or strength-based session with higher reps and lower weight,” the author says.

One of Savannah’s training schedules looks like this;

  • Monday – Back & Biceps, Cardio
  • Tuesday – Legs & Abs
  • Wednesday – Cardio
  • Thursday – Delts & Triceps
  • Friday – Abs & Cardio
  • Saturday – Cardio
  • Sunday – Rest

Free Weights Over Machines

Savannah’s routines are based on using dumbbells and barbells as her primary tools for increasing muscle mass and fortifying her muscle stabilizers.

At the end of her workouts, when the muscles are already exhausted, she adds exercises that use cables and machines. They operate as “finishers” for her, aiding in the activation of deep muscle fibers.

Cardio: Savannah’s Perspective

Savannah switches up her cardio routine regularly, just like she does with her weight training. But if she had to choose only one, steady-state cardio would be it.

Savannah notes that she prefers this to HIIT because she likes lengthier cardio sessions because she can “zone out and enjoy the music.”

Training Errors

Training is simply a small component of the “equation,” claims Savannah. She thinks that maintaining a healthy diet and getting enough sleep is just as vital as exercising.

Of course, working out is important for building muscle, but many people overlook the fact that it can also be done outside of the gym with a healthy diet and enough sleep.

She counsels everyone to maintain proper levels of training, sleep, and diet.

Nutrition

Preparing And Cooking Her Meals

Especially when she’s bulking up, Savannah frequently prepares her food. The majority of her meals are identical, with meat and vegetables serving as the foundation for nearly all of her meals.

She carefully weighs and separates her meals into their containers before preparing them. She places them in the refrigerator once they are all ready.

Chicken with veggies, rice, beef, and salads with low-calorie dressings are a few of Savannah’s favorite items to prepare ahead of time.

Savannah’s Macro, and Micronutrients

  • Proteins; eggs, Greek Yoghurt, fish, eggs, chicken
  • Carbs; oatmeal, Ezekiel bread, and sweet potatoes
  • Fats; olive oil, peanut, and almond butter, flaxseed oil, avocado
  • Vegetables; spinach, bell peppers, asparagus, and broccoli

Favorite Cheat Meals

Pizza, pasta, sushi, and Mexican food are all favorites of Savannah’s. Savannah also has a bit of a sweet tooth and occasionally has to restrain herself from indulging in it.

Despite this, Savannah understands the value of maintaining a nutritious diet over the long run; she keeps the big picture in mind, giving her the mental fortitude to resist these temptations.

“Obstacles will come up no matter what path you choose. You can’t always control those obstacles… But you can choose how you react to them. So will you throw in the towel? Or will you use it to wipe the sweat off your face?”

Influences and Idols

Savannah’s father was her first and most significant fitness inspiration. When she initially started attending bodybuilding and fitness contests as a child, he gave her access to “a whole new universe.”

She started idolizing people like Samantha Baker, Ava Cowan, Lacey Lynn Johnston, Nathalia Melo, Jamie Eason, and Heather Clay after beginning her transforming journey in college. These athletes had the most influence on Savannah and her career.
