Biography

Early Years

Tara Frost was very active as a child and was always involved in several sports, but her major passion was gymnastics.

Tara switched from gymnastics to cheerleading by the time she was a senior in high school. She says she was quite frustrated during that time because she began to put on a lot of weight and that she “desperately” wanted to get back in shape.

Tara then started looking into nutrition and exercise to reduce her body fat. She eventually joined a gym and began working out despite having little to no knowledge of how or what to do.

Exercise Routines and CrossFit

After spending a lot of time reading about weightlifting and dieting, Tara soon gained some experience and began to see changes in her body. She later admitted that it was at this point that she became addicted to the lifestyle.

Tara started to become interested in CrossFit after several years of working out and dieting, so she decided to give it a try.

She first hired a coach to teach her the fundamentals. Soon, Tara was setting astounding personal records like the 185-pound squat and the 225-pound deadlift.

Tips for Newcomers

As a result of her years spent working out at the gym and several blunders she made, Tara wanted to highlight some of the most typical faults that beginners make.

She claims that having poor form and posture is the most important error. She emphasizes the significance of exercising with excellent form because failure to do so almost certainly results in damage.

When she first began working out and dieting, Tara claimed that she had spent more time healing from injuries.

Another rookie error, according to Tara, is doing the same workouts every month or even every week.

She claimed that the best way to progress is to continually switch up your workouts and that if you don’t do that, you’ll find yourself stagnant for a very long period.

Be tolerant. It will need some time. You must persevere and make goals for yourself. – Tara thinks this is another significant one.

Rushing things, she claimed, only leads to harm and frustration rather than growth. Tara acknowledged that the secret to success in anything, not just fitness, is to create small, attainable objectives for yourself.

Training Methodology

According to Tara, the easiest approach to seeing physical changes in the body is to continually alter your routines and try various sorts of exercises to keep your body guessing.

Any form of the lunge is her go-to exercise. She thinks that if one is imaginative enough, lunges may be used for practically any portion of the body in addition to the lower body.

Tara Frost typically works out on an open floor using resistance bands, her body weight, and free weights rather than utilizing machines or gym equipment. She will occasionally change that up as well, occasionally employing machines.

Tara prefers to use the StairMaster and Spin bike for High-Intensity Interval Training when it comes to cardio.

She thinks it’s the best method for swiftly burning extra body fat and is also beneficial for cellulite. She works out once a day and typically takes 4 days off each month.

“The hardest part is usually the beginning”

Nutrition

Dietary Principles

Tara Frost claims that she does not adhere to tight diets because she believes that doing so is unhealthy for both the body and the psyche.

But the majority of the time, she consumes high-quality, clean things like lean meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, almonds, and avocado. She also said she eats between 1-3 complete cheat meals per week and doesn’t measure her food.

Even though she enjoys sweets, she tries to limit her intake because she thinks that they are the primary source of the body’s inflammation.

The greatest strategy to prevent inflammation, in her opinion, is to eliminate dairy and gluten from one’s diet. However, Tara acknowledges that she would typically eat at least 88% dark chocolate if she had a sweet tooth.

Supplementation

When it comes to consuming supplements, Tara likes to keep things straightforward. Egg whites or beef protein and BCAAs make up her stack.

“Happiness is a way of life, not a destination.”

What can Tara Frost Teach us?

Tara frequently expressed her gratitude for what she has and her opinion that more people ought to share her outlook.

She claims that many people are overly pessimistic and only focus on the negative aspects of life when they should instead be appreciating what they already have and keeping in mind that many people are in need.

That being said, if there is one thing we can learn from Tara, it’s gratefulness.

Be grateful for everything you have, and as Tara would say, “even more things will come into your life for which you will be even more grateful, and it’s a beautiful cycle of happiness.”  – Tara Frost
