Anita Padilla began her career as a journalist in the news sector as an intern at WBBM-TV. She also worked at WFTV in Orlando, Florida. Anita earned her first Emmy in 1995 for her coverage of an armed robbery and carjacking by a murderer in Orlando. She began her career as a news reporter for Fox Broadcasting in 1995 but left to work for Chicago’s WMAQ station five.
