Dylan Llewellyn was born on September 10, 1992, in England to British parents. Dylan, the youngest of three brothers, is still a rising star in Hollywood, with most of his childhood and family life unknown.

Education Of Dylan Llewellyn

Llewellyn attended More House School in Farnham, a school for children with exceptional needs and learning difficulties. It was here that he gained confidence with other people and advanced in his newly learned learning techniques. Dylan waited many years before disclosing to the public that he was dyslexic and the difficulties that came with growing up with a learning disability.

In an interview with ‘GetSurrey,’ he revealed his vulnerable side, saying, ‘At first, it was difficult for me to learn scripts at short notice, but after a couple of years of appearing in ‘Hollyoaks,’ and needing to remember lines daily, it became much simpler.’

2009 Career At The National

Dylan’s career flourished in 2009. Anthony Horowitz put him in Theatre, and Creative Artist Management (CAM) quickly signed him on, before he went on to play Ricky, the lead in a short film for the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

The next year, Llewellyn was cast as Adam Wilcock in the TV series “The Bill,” and later that year he was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, which only takes 28 new students each year.

In every film portraying an aspiring actor, the character gives such a great performance that a scout in the audience ‘discovers’ them and offers them a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become a Hollywood star. This is where Dylan’s story began.

Dylan got his big break in 2011 when he was cast as Martin ‘Jono’ Johnson in the TV series ‘Hollyoaks’ after giving such a passionate performance in a high school play that he was contacted by an agency immediately thereafter. After many minor appearances and cameos, he was cast in his most well-known role to date as ‘James’ in the television series ‘Derry Girls.’

Llewellyn explained getting the position in ‘Derry Girls’ to GQ.com: ‘I got the call during work and informed him it was my agent and he goes, “Go!”

Dylan has wanted to be in a comedy series since seeing ‘The Inbetweeners,’ and his dream came true when he was cast in ‘Derry Girls.’ Dylan stated that everyone at work was thrilled for him and that he would always have a position there if he desired it.

Famous Partner

Dylan’s character, James, plays a shy awkward teenager who adores a boy band and is slowly coming into his own amongst a group of bullies at school in ‘Derry Girls.’ James could have been seen as homosexual based on his interests.

As is common in Hollywood, rumors and speculation about an actor’s sexuality circulate with little or no evidence – as was the case with Dylan.

When challenged about his sexuality, Dylan stated, “I support gays, even if I am not gay.” He even tweeted the quote with the caption #Pride2018. With the caption, ‘Those gays stick together.’

The actor has never been involved in a romantic relationship, although in 2013, he tweeted about his desire for a girl, followed by the hashtag lonely. To date, the actor has not stated whether he has a girlfriend in any interviews or on any of his social media sites. However, the chance that Dylan is in love is not implausible – like, with other celebrities, Dylan may be keeping his romantic endeavors hidden from the prying eyes of the public.
