1. Angelina Jolie: top amongst the insect-eating celebrities
When you talk of Angelina Jolie, you know that she is a talented star with beauty and influence. She advocates having insects and also feeds them to her kids: biological and adopted. In 2017, she told BBC:
“Crickets, you start with crickets. Crickets and a beer and then you kind of move up to tarantulas,”
Talking about the tastes of her children, she had said:
“They can eat a bag of crickets like a bag of chips,”
“I’m learning to cook them better. A little more flair, a little more seasoning.”
2. Justin Timberlake
In 2018, this famous singer had released his album Man of the Woods. He held a party at that time and the items on the menu were ants that were coated in black garlic and rose oil along with grasshoppers.

This young actor is fond of insects and is adventurous when it comes to having them. He had consumed live larvae with a Mexican meal. He said that they tasted like creamed corn.
On the The George Lopez Show in 2010, he are scorpions, Taiwanese cricket, and super worms in front of the studio audience.
He felt the best were crickets but scorpions were also nice, according to him. And in 2014, he had an omelet of earthworms and pigeon egg shells.
5. Salma Hayek
This actress is Mexican. She has been eating insects since her childhood days and it was in her heritage to do so, she revealed in 2010. Salma elaborated:
“These little ants fried are amazing with a little guacamole. And the worms, there are many different recipes for those. The little grasshoppers have a smoky flavour to them. It’s the way they cook them, and it’s really good,”
In 2015, she posted a photo of herself eating insects on her Instagram and captioned it:
“These are crickets from Mexico, from Oaxaca, and they are eaten…”

American actress, Shailene Woodley loves having insects as foods. In 2015, for the cover story for Nylon, she said:
“I am a fan of snacking on bugs.”
She believes strongly that insects are the next big food trend. She had said:

“and June bugs, that was great. I think the future of food is in insects, so we’ll see what happens.”
