To get exactly uniform stuffed burgers, you can, if you’d like, buy a stuffed burger press. can simply perform them by hand. You won’t be let down by these scrumptious burgers, either way!

Ingredients
- 28 oz lean turkey or beef (not extra lean)
- 2 tablespoons finely minced onion
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 fresh jalapeno pepper diced (seeds removed if you prefer less spice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Rolls & Toppings as desired
Instructions
- The grill should be heated to medium or oven to high broil.
- Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and jalapeño dice in a small bowl.
- Combine the meat, onion, salt, and pepper. Cut the meat into four equal pieces (7oz each). One-fourth of the cream cheese mixture should be shaped into a pancake. Make sure the cheese mixture is thoroughly encircled by the beef or turkey before wrapping it. Each hamburger should have a thin layer of olive oil on it.

- Burgers should be cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side, on a medium-hot grill. (Beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F and turkey to 165°F.)
to roast
- Burgers should be placed on a foil-lined pan about 6″ from the broiler. Cook fully by broiling for 5 to 6 minutes on each side. (Beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F and turkey to 165°F.)
