Lauralie Chapados began weight training as a means of being healthy and fit after realizing that something needed to change. She was inspired to advance her fitness quest by competing in bikini shows after quickly advancing in her training.
Lauralie obtained her Pro Card in 2016. Just two years later, she made her Ms. Bikini Olympia debut and finished as runner-up while completely overhauling herself.

Biography (Early Life)
Martial Arts And Sports
Lauralie credits her parents, who encouraged her to participate in soccer, skiing, jiujitsu, and other sports at a young age, for the fact that she has always been an active person.
Due to her history in sports, Lauralie was in fantastic form even as a young child. She claims that she was physically fitter than most of her contemporaries at the age of 8 and had abs.
Adolescence And Partying
Lauralie started going out more as she reached adolescence when she started to become a little less active.
And it didn’t take long for this to show on her body; she soon began to look and feel worse than before.
Turning 180 Degrees
One day, Lauralie decided to join a gym and stop partying in favor of lifting weights after recognizing that her weekend drinking and partying were damaging her health.
She uttered:
“I began reading online articles about being fit. I wanted to bulk up and get in shape. I went from going out and partying with friends every weekend to going to the gym twice a day, which was a complete 180. (Lauralie Chapados)
A Rapid Ascent To The Top
Before meeting her boyfriend, a trainer in Montreal, Canada, Lauralie continued her training for around a year. He inspired Lauralie to participate in bikini contests. “He advised me to participate in fitness competitions,”
Lauralie entered her first competition four months later and was immediately bitten by the competitive bug.
From that point forward, she began routinely competing and advanced fast through the ranks to win her IFBB Pro Card at the 2016 IFBB Qualifiers in Canada.
Got Second At The Olympia
Lauralie quickly established herself on the Pro Circuit after joining it, taking home three consecutive wins in 2018. Which were:
- Tampa Pro Bikini, 1st place
- Chicago Pro Bikini, 1st place
- Toronto Pro Bikini, 1st place
But she had only just begun. She entered the Ms. Bikini Olympia for the first time in September 2018. She rose through the ranks despite having no prior show experience to take second place.
With this amazing accomplishment, Lauralie made it obvious that she had only one ambition: to win the title of Ms. Olympia in the bikini division. She will certainly keep working hard and giving it her all to eventually reach this objective.

Getting Ready For Bikini Shows
Lauralie visits the gym 6-7 times per week, twice daily, doing cardio in the morning and weightlifting in the evening while preparing for a competition.
Lauralie, however, is adamant about paying attention to her body, thus her regimen may differ from week to week. She will go for it if she feels like she can accomplish more, but if she is sore, she will take an active rest day by stretching or going for long walks.
Yoga helps Lauralie recuperate further. To keep her stress and body fat levels down before a show, she has discovered that yoga helps lower her cortisol levels.
Nutrition (Diet Plan)
Similar to other fitness competitors, Lauralie divides her nutrition between “off-season” and “in-season” phases.
To stay thin and maintain muscle mass while training for a competition, she consumes foods high in protein and low in overall calories.
In contrast, when she doesn’t have a performance coming up, she will eat more to sculpt and shape her muscles to her liking.
