Who is Chul Soon Hwang?
Chul Soon Hwang, a Korean bodybuilder known as the “Asian Arnold,” is renowned for his remarkable physique, which includes “chiseled” 8-pack abs and an “old-school,” traditional physique style.
Chul Soon Hwang has gained notoriety in his native Korea and internationally since he began participating in 2009. He has won multiple bodybuilding competitions both in the US and Korea and has appeared in advertisements and television programs.

Biography
Motivating Factors For Beginning A Fitness Journey
When Chul was 20 years old, his workout routine and urge to lift weights “emerged.” His goal in starting this trip was to change his “scrawny” figure into something admirable and earn the respect of everyone around him.
Chul added when asked why he began working out, “When I turned 20, I had a really small body and weighed only 57kg (125lb). I received disrespectful treatment. When I helped someone or spoke to a stranger or returned items to a store, people would look down on me.
Chul used to practice 3000 crunches every day, virtually every day when he initially began. His workouts occasionally lasted more than two or three hours.
He eventually discovered, though, that this style of exercise wasn’t the most effective for gaining muscle, so he switched to a planned workout routine and focused more on his diet.
Chul noticed a rapid improvement in his physique after altering his strategy. He was no longer recognizable three years later because of his huge, proportional, and “shredded” body.
Employment In Fitness
Chul Soon Hwang began working as a personal trainer in a gym in Seoul, South Korea, after gaining years of weightlifting expertise. Later, in 2009, he advanced his profession in fitness by beginning to participate in bodybuilding competitions.
Chul came in second place at his first competition, the 2009 Musclemania World Championships, with outstanding performance (light-weight category).
By the end of 2010, he had sculpted such an incredible physique that he won the 2010 Musclemania World at Fitness America Weekend tournament, receiving his Pro Card in addition to the victory. He then began participating regularly, adding more size and greater conditioning each year.
Chul has now become a well-known celebrity fitness trainer and has appeared in several Korean and American TV shows, periodicals, and commercials.
“People regard me with greater respect now that I am considerably bigger. I go by the names “Asian Sensation,” “Asian Pride,” and “Asian Arnold.”
Training
Chul had to work hard in the gym for years to develop his “traditional, old-school” appearing body, utilizing trial and error as his guidance.
He notably concentrated on complex exercises like the bench press, squat, pull-up, and deadlift, which work for numerous muscular groups. Chul thinks that performing just these four workouts will be sufficient to get a physique that is outstanding and reminiscent of the Golden Era.
He still incorporates certain isolated exercises into his routine, though, because they help him sculpt his muscles and correct any strength or size imbalances he may have. Cable flies, rear delt dumbbell flies, and wide-grip lat pulldowns are a few of these exercises.
Nutrition
Chul Soon Hwang has a rigorous diet consisting of a lot of protein, a few carbs, and a little bit of fat.
His protein and fat intake are spread out throughout the day, with a focus on the last few hours before bed. He consumes the majority of his carbohydrates in the morning and just after a workout.
He frequently eats bananas, chicken, brown rice, whey protein shakes, and avocados, among other things.
Every three hours, Chul consumes a meal that typically weighs half a pound.

It is clear from Chul’s physique that Arnold Schwarzenegger and other bodybuilding legends from the Golden Era are some of his biggest influences.
The hallmark of Chul’s dedication to the gym and a symbol of his fitness objectives are the v-taper, enormous arms and shoulders, thick calves and legs, and chiseled abs.
