Who is Alex Zerega?

An American fitness model and bikini contestant named Alex Zerega also goes by the name Beltran.

Alex developed a strong passion for competitive sports when she was younger, from hockey to soccer.

Alex Zerega took it upon herself to emulate her older brother’s example, who was very active in athletics, from a young age.

Since I grew up with an older brother, I developed an early interest in sports, as Alex explains. As he did, I aspired to achieve success in every sport I played.

Since then, she has established herself as an accomplished bikini competitor in the NPC and a sponsored athlete. Here is her account:

Biography

A Natural-born Athlete

Alex Zerega developed a passion for fitness right away, drawing motivation from her older brother, who grew up loving sports.

Her childhood was largely devoted to maintaining an outdoor active lifestyle, including soccer and hockey. She was able to develop an athletic physique as a result from a young age.

Alex acknowledges that she was a little bit of a “tomboy” in high school due to her interest in sports. But Alex claims that throughout her youth, it helped her to cultivate a tough, competitive mindset:

I owe it to my brother to toughen me up because that is what made me into the person I am today.

Alex eventually decided to use the weightlifting area to accentuate her athletic frame. She eventually decided to completely stop playing soccer because of how much running was required.

I can’t say that I was ever a “cardio bunny,” but I have always loved lifting weights, as Alex says. I’ve never been great at cardio. Instead, she started concentrating on going to the gym regularly to do strength training exercises.

The Path To Fitness Modeling

Later on, Alex made contact with a friend of hers who was a photographer. Alex quickly attained widespread recognition, which resulted in numerous job offers in fitness modeling.

Alex’s fitness career started to take shape before she even realized it when she was signed up by an agency.

Taking Part In Bodybuilding Competitions

After improving with her workouts in the gym, Alex developed a stunning physique. She then decided that taking the next step in her bodybuilding career would be to compete in bikini competitions.

Alex entered the bodybuilding stage in 2010 after one of her friends gave her more information about bikini competitions. She spent a lot of time in the gym getting ready for her stage debut.

She competed in the 2010 Flex Bikini Championships, winning the title. Alex was immediately hooked as a result of her outstanding performance, which opened the door for her to achieve more in her competitive bikini career within the NPC.

She performs low repetitions of heavy weightlifting, though she will perform high repetitions of lighter weightlifting closer to any competition appearances.

Alex maintains a healthy diet to keep her trim, toned body. Below is a list of her menu choices and meal preparation:

Influences And Idols

Alex Zerega surrounds herself with individuals who enhance her life. This applies to her family, coach, and friends.

But most of all, Alex expresses gratitude to her brother for playing a significant part in fostering her love of sports from a young age and for helping her achieve success in the fitness industry. As Alex puts it

“Much of who I am today and what I’ve accomplished in this sport can be attributed to my brother,”

Receiving messages from her fans telling Alex that she is an inspiration motivates her as well.

This gives Alex a huge psychological boost because she wants to set an example for them and help them achieve greatness in their fitness journeys.
