Biography
Challenges in Childhood
Jessica had a challenging upbringing in the center of California. Her mother was imprisoned, leaving her father as her primary source of advice. As a result, Jessica struggled with a variety of mental illnesses.
The future bikini athlete experienced problems with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and alcoholism. In 1997, when she was 12 years old, she turned to drink and self-harm.
She was sliding down a slippery slope.
“At this point, I recall being so devoid of life that I would cut my wrists to feel that I was still breathing. Up until this point in my life, I had no idea why people did it. I started smoking a little over a pack a day. For four years, I smoked to reduce my tension.
Entering the gym
There was still some optimism, though.
Jessica’s father intervened to assist her, and it was through his persuasion that she entered the bodybuilding industry.
When Jessica was 17 years old and her father took her to the gym, she started lifting weights. She started adopting the Arnold method of training, which involves working for every muscle group five days a week, with the help of her father.
Jessica improved both her physical appearance and her mental toughness. She learned that lifting weights helps to focus the mind and promotes optimism, which enabled her to get through her difficult upbringing.
She had unintentionally started down the road to success through rigorous training.

Being A Successful Bikini Athlete
Jessica Arevalo had improved from her ailments over the subsequent ten years thanks to her unwavering drive to succeed.
She had been through difficult circumstances, but weightlifting had gotten her through them, and she was now more determined than ever to succeed.
She was prepared for her first Bikini Athlete competition when she was 26 years old.
She competed at the 2011 NPC San Francisco Championships, putting all of her hard work on full display. She won the tournament and received a prize for her efforts. Jessica had achieved a significant win, and things would only get better.
To Obtain Her Pro Card
Jessica was exhilarated for the first time in her life after winning. Her participation in the 2011 NPC National Championship to compete for a Pro Card was invited.
Despite facing stiff opposition from Krystyn Niespolo and others, she was still able to win her second career trophy. She had won, but she had also kept her Pro Card.
She had, at last, achieved her goal of turning into a competitive bikini athlete. She didn’t see the same success in the professional categories, though.
I enjoy going in there to isolate each muscle area while lifting heavily.
Training
Since the beginning, Jessica has continued to train in the same manner. She has kept up her training regimen of five days a week of total body workouts, as she did when she first started.
She will only do 20 minutes of cardio after each workout if she is getting ready for a picture session or performance. She concentrates on gaining as much muscle as she can throughout her off-season.

Nutrition
Jessica Arevalo consumes six little meals a day to fuel her muscles and maintain a fast metabolism. She eats a lot of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and good fats.

Influences and Idols
Her father, who inspired her to start weight training, is the main source of inspiration for the California native. She might not have achieved success as a bikini athlete without him.
Jessica lists her mother on the list of persons who have inspired her profession, even though she was raised by an absent mother for the majority of her life:
“My mother is the most incredible and lovely woman. She has so much talent, but her life has just been dealt the wrong cards.
My mother and I, along with other women, want other women to know that there is hope for them to realize their full potential and aspirations. I won’t stop until my purpose is accomplished.
“I have survived it all and came out stronger than ever and if I can do it so can you! Never give up!”
