For Cinco de Mayo, try frozen strawberry and mango margaritas! It is now! Many of you sent me messages asking how to make those frozen margarita slushies with fruits and whether the same recipe would work with frozen fruits after I posted those drinks a few days ago. Yes, that is the response.

Frozen Strawberry And Mango Margaritas Recipe

Margaritas made with frozen strawberries and mangoes are superior to the original. I’m not even sure which Frozen Strawberry And Mango Margaritas version I preferred. You are free to make that determination.

My mind was blown by the texture of the mango flavor. It’s creamy, sweet, and boozy with a faint lime undertone.

The Strawberry was the next flavor I sampled before the booze took effect. Can I just say that since I started this blog, this was the best and most enjoyable shoot I’ve ever had? Nothing beats celebrating with alcohol-infused slushies by myself.

If you’re having a party… Greetings on May 5th!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. On a small dish, sprinkle salt; then, run a lime wedge over the rim of each glass. Place each glass aside after being salted. (Or move the dish to the fridge to chill.)
  2. Tequila, Triple Sec (or Cointreau), lime juice, fruit, ice, and lime juice should all be combined and blended until the mixture has the consistency of a slushy. Add more ice as needed. Serve immediately.

NOTES

If the slushy is too intense for you, add 1/4 cup of lemonade to sweeten it up and dilute the alcohol.
