Daughter Bandit Lee Way is the child of Gerard Way and his wife Lindsey Way, who have been married since 2007.
On May 27, 2009, the musician couple gave birth to their one child, some two years after getting married behind the scenes.
The My Chemical Romance singer surprisingly welcomed his daughter, Bandit, through Twitpic nine weeks after the baby’s birth, stating, “we don’t have to travel to comic-con to have a nice time.”
His wife and child were dressed as Batman in the photo, while Lindsey, who also goes by Lyn-Z, was dressed as Robin in a different image.
The household dog was decked out in Joker garb.
Gerard Way Was Taken Aback by the Pregnancy News
In a February 2009 interview with People, Gerard claimed he was rendered speechless when his wife discovered she was expecting the couple’s first child.
He also said that he was still unsure of how to express his happiness in words and bring up the subject of the child during the interview.

Gerard and his wife Lindsey have only had one child, and they frequently share pictures of the baby on social media.
A painting that the singer’s wife and daughter created for him on his birthday in 2016 was one example.
