The Dukan diet is a high protein but low carbs diet. It aims to make a person lose weight rapidly and permanently without any starving or hunger pangs. It has four phases but nutritionists do not recommend it. But the diet has a score of 1.63 out of 5. The diet is complicated, with not much of healthy foods. It might cause nutritional deficiencies and the high protein content is also a matter of concern. It is not a long-term cure for weight loss.
