Biography

Anna’s Formative Years

Anna Delyla was raised in Middelburg after moving there from the Netherlands where she was born. Dance piqued Anna’s interest as a child.

She trained in a variety of dance styles, including pole fitness, street dancing, jazz ballet, ballroom dancing, and classical ballet.

Anna gave up dancing when she entered her teenage years and began working as a model.

Although she claims to still have a passion for dance, she chose to concentrate on other endeavors to improve her career, one of which was modeling.

Pregnancy

Anna’s life was perfect, and her modeling career had begun to take off.

However, Anna unexpectedly became pregnant with her daughter.

This required her to put her profession on wait to give her whole attention to her child. My baby is the source of all of my love, inspiration, and power, as Anna put it.

Choosing an Alternative Path

Anna began to devote time to herself again as her daughter grew older. She decided to get back in shape and build up her physical and emotional strength.

In Anna’s own words: “I decided it was time to start caring for myself again, I wanted to grow stronger mentally as well as physically.”

She viewed bodybuilding as the ideal strategy for achieving her objectives. As she puts it, “amongst all the big guys,” Anna soon began working out at the gym. Yes, I was a skinny girl there, but I persisted in training anyhow, and I’m always proud of that decision.

Although Anna found it difficult to train by herself without any assistance. Her perseverance was finally paying off; she started to get in the best shape of her life and felt better than ever.

Bikini Contests

2014, following a successful effort to become in shape again. Anna decided to enter her first bikini competition as an even harder challenge.

She believed it was time to “test” her hard-earned physique against other female candidates after spending months working out diligently.

At her first competition, the Enercup in the Netherlands, Anna unexpectedly won first place. I stood there and all my hard work was rewarded, and I was very pleased with myself, said Anna.

Anna then started regularly competing in bikini events after that. She completed five contests in just one year, earning the right to compete in the IFBB international competitions along the way.

Career Objectives

Results from Anna’s performance in a bikini were well-received. A well-known fitness brand soon got in touch with her and made her an offer of sponsorship.

Anna, who was thrilled to have the chance to work as a sponsored model, accepted the offer knowing that it would help her develop her fitness profession.

Training

Routine of Training for Anna Delyla

Anna switches up her workout schedule every six weeks. To illustrate, below is a typical 5-day-per-week split for her;

Anna consistently works hard and gives it her best in the gym, regardless of the stage she’s at.

She can tell if she worked out effectively if her muscles still hurt the next day.

I always train by myself, listen to music, and tune out the outside world.

Anna’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge Recipe

A favorite sweet treat of Anna’s is this chocolate fudge. When she needs anything sweet during the off-season, she occasionally eats it.

The Ingredients:

  • Peanut butter, 90 grams
  • Honey or agave syrup, 80 grams
  • Almond Milk, 2 deciliters
  • Cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons
  • Pinch of salt
  • Rice waffles, 4
  • Coconut Oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Small Banana, 1
  • Cacao Buttons, 50 grams

How to make it:

  1. Cover a baking tray with plastic foil.
  2. Crumble the rice waffles in a large bowl until you have relatively small pieces.
  3. Put the peanut butter, milk, and honey into a small container and put them on medium heat, and melt whilst stirring.
  4. Add cacao and salt to the melted mass
  5. Stir the chocolate mixture and add it on top of the rice waffles until everything is layered
  6. Spread the rice wafer mixture into the mold and push it firmly. Put the mold in the fridge and meanwhile do the fudge.
  7. Add the banana, melt the coconut oil and raw cocoa buttons into a pan and stir them all together
  8. Return to the freezer for 45-60 minutes and then cut it into desired shapes

Diet during Anna Delyla’s Season

Anna eats a low-calorie, varied diet of carbs at the appropriate season. She thus alternates between low- and high-carb days when preparing for competitions.

She can do this to lose body fat while maintaining a full, muscular appearance.

  • 1st Meal: spinach, blueberries, lemon juice, kiwi, avocado, and one scoop of whey (everything in the blender makes a delicious smoothie)
  • 2nd Meal: chicken, raw vegetables, and rice waffles
  • 3rd Meal: Whitefish, pineapple, avocado
  • 4th Meal: rice, green vegetables, chicken
  • 5th Meal: proteins, 1 whole egg, tomato
  • 6th Meal: casein and walnuts

Wednesday / Saturday

  • 1st Meal: whole-grain cereals, raisins, casein, and beef protein (mix in blender)
  • 2nd Meal: chicken, raw vegetables, and rice waffles
  • 3rd Meal: white fish, pineapple, avocado
  • 4th Meal: beef champions
  • 5th Meal: rice, green vegetables, and chicken
  • 6th Meal: scrambled eggs; 4-protein blend, walnuts 

During the Off-Season

While Anna adheres to a very rigorous diet while it is “in-season,” never adding sugar or additional sauces. Her diet is substantially less regulated in the off-season.

During this phase, she follows a flexible diet, paying attention to her body while remaining sensible about her food selections and taking everything in proportion.
