Although there are many lessons to be learned from competing, I would have to admit that after a competition I evaluate my physique and ask myself, ‘Okay, I worked hard and it showed, but where can I improve?’ I then demonstrate improvement in that area following my next competition.

Knowing that you can constantly improve is cool. Not by winning competitions or attempting to be “perfect,” that is how you will advance.

Childhood And College

Callie began to compete in National Physique Committee shows after several months of diligent training. In 2012, she participated in her first professional contest and finished 11th.

Callie managed to finish in second place at the 2012 NPC Metropolitan Championships just one year after the first competition, and she showed no signs of slowing down after that.

Through my years of playing sports and my ongoing desire to perform to the best of my ability, my innate intelligence has become ingrained in my M.O.

Philosophy Of Training And Favorite Exercises

“Slow growth is the true progress,” is Callie’s training tenet. She emphasizes repeatedly the value of neither hurrying the workout nor the outcomes. Because, says Callie, if she isn’t having fun, she might as well give up.

Callies enjoys working out her hamstrings and glutes the most. She acknowledges that it took a lot of training for them to reach their current level of impressiveness.

The same is true for her abs, which she worked on for months before she was able to show them off to the public.

Squats, good mornings, and shoulder presses are Callie’s top exercises, according to her. She claims that squats are the main cause of the development of her gluteus muscles and that the shoulder press gives her an amazing arm pump afterward.

“Since I don’t deprive myself of anything, I don’t experience cravings. If you want it, have it, in my opinion. If not, you gradually consume everything else you see.

Diet plan of Callie Bundy

Lean foods like fish, poultry, and occasionally steak make up Callie’s diet. She consumes fruits, vegetables, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and other carbs. Last but not least, Callie eats chia seeds, olive oil, almonds, and flaxseed oil as sources of fat.

When asked if Callie Bundy always eats organic, Callie replied, “I don’t think it’s like eating; it’s about always trying to make better choices at least 80% of the time, not about being flawless.

I try to buy organic wherever I can, but I don’t go overboard. If I’m somewhere and there isn’t an alternative, I count that as a portion of my 20% and keep going.

Pizza cooked in a wood-fired or brick oven and topped with cherry peppers, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, and onions is her go-to cheat lunch.

Tips For Losing Weight

The following are some of Callie’s favorite pointers for exercising:

1.” Start with your mind, you have to be open to it and want it for yourself.”
2. “Drink water”
3. “Be consistent.”
4. “Remember SLOW progress, is REAL progress.”
5. “Enjoy the ENTIRE process; learn from your ‘failures’. Those will make you strongest in the LONG RUN mentally, physically & that’s what matters” – Callie Bundy

Influences And Idols

Callie Bundy acknowledges that she considers a person’s attitude and mentality in addition to their “outer shell” or appearance. She lists Yeshaira Robles and Jaime Baird as two of the most motivating people she has ever encountered.

“From head to toe, you don’t get much more of a complete package than those girls,” says Callie of her two idols. They are both as graceful and refined on stage as they are off, according to the people I’ve met.

What Callie Bundy Can Teach Us?

Callie Bundy gave us advice on how to create goals, be persistent, and not take ourselves or our lives too seriously, especially when it comes to dieting.

She just lives a lifetime of dieting, but it doesn’t mean she won’t give in to what her body craves or needs.

What we can take away from Callie is that while we should always aim for excellence, we should also occasionally take time to look at and be grateful for what we already have.
