Biography

Childhood And Baseball

Cody Drobot, a 1993 baby, has been living a healthy lifestyle since he was a little child. Cody began playing T-ball at the age of 4, and he was already displaying symptoms of a competitive spirit.

Cody’s family was encouraging and gave him advice to pursue his interest from an early age. Cody experimented with many sports as a child, but baseball was the one he did best.

For a while, Cody kept playing baseball, and throughout the years he was good at it, he learned about weightlifting. When he purchased his first set of dumbbells at the age of 13, he began routinely working out in addition to playing baseball.

Preferring Weights to Baseball

Cody continued to play baseball throughout his elementary and high school years in the hopes of one day becoming a pro and earning a job from it. He excelled at the sport and wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down, according to some of his pals.

However, after several years of playing baseball competitively, Cody would frequently discover that he would go straight to the gym after finishing baseball practice.

Cody eventually realized that bodybuilding had replaced baseball as his primary love and made the decision to give up baseball.

Developing A New Career

Cody had spent years working out in the gym, which had given him a strong and attractive physique by the time he was 19 years old. But his understanding of healthy eating wasn’t up to pace with his training.

Cody quickly developed an interest in competing and understood that he would need to learn more about dieting if he wanted to present himself in the best possible shape on stage.

Soon after beginning to explore and put some of the new knowledge he had gained into practice, Cody began to see a rapid improvement in his physique.

2014 marked the beginning of Cody’s professional bodybuilding career as he took his first stage appearance. He was able to win both his class and the overall title at the Junior Mr. Alberta competition in 2014.

“I was hooked the moment I stepped on stage for the first time.”

When the second show rolled along a few months after his first competition, Cody was prepared to take on a greater challenge. He competed at the 2014 Southern Alberta Men’s Middleweight and Overall, and he once again did not disappoint, winning the event by defeating all of the opposition.

Getting to the Top

Cody finished the year by taking second place in the Provincial Men’s Middleweight competition before pausing to think.

Cody took part in 3 further shows over the following 2 years, winning 2 of them. He won third place in the 2015 Junior Canadian Nationals before deciding to switch to the Classic Physique division a few months later.

At this moment, Cody’s true potential had emerged, and he utterly outclassed his rivals to win the 2016 Classic Physique Division title. A few months later, Cody won the 2016 Mr. Classic Alberta competition.

His accomplishments quickly made him well-known, and many people began to seek out his fitness guidance.

Cody decided to train as a lifestyle and fitness coach at that point, and soon after, he began changing the lives of his customers all over the world.

“Nothing worth having comes easy in life. You have to be willing to put in the time if you want to succeed. If you fall, get back up and try again because champions are forged in adversity.”

Training

Cody has a straightforward training strategy. He prefers to maintain the volume high, the weight hard, and the rest period between sets between 30 and 60 seconds.

He usually runs on the treadmill or alternates between running outside for exercise. Cody may occasionally combine steady-state cardio with some form of high-intensity interval training when he wants to lose weight quickly.

Cody, who is well-known for his Frank Zane-like vacuum position, claims that he practices vacuums every day since he thinks it’s one of the essential steps to building a vintage, classic body.

Cody typically works out every body part once per week, but he exercises his legs twice as often because he feels his hamstrings and quads are his weakest body parts. He might train up to twice daily while he is getting ready for tournaments.

“There’s really no secret to building a beautiful physique. So many people fail to realize how crucial proper nutrition is.

You can take all the drugs in the world, train as hard as you want, but if you aren’t fueling your body with the nutrients it needs, you won’t see the results you desire! Consistency is key my friends.”

Nutrition

Whole meals are, in Cody’s opinion, the most crucial element of bodybuilding. He asserts that no amount of exercise or even the use of steroids can compare to the benefits of appropriate eating.

He asserts that everyone who wants to develop a wonderful body should strive for an intense exercise session, together with a terrific diet and decent sleep.

Proteins are a cornerstone in Cody’s diet, especially when he’s trying to lose weight for a competition. He often consumes 220 grams of protein at that period, maybe even more, along with a variety of nutritious green veggies.

“Do it with all your heart, or don’t do it at all.”

Influences and Idols

Cody’s preferred bodybuilding era has always been the classic era. He claimed that Frank Zane was his biggest role model during that time, and according to Cody, he always aspired to look like him.

When asked if he was inspired by contemporary bodybuilding, Cody responded that he had always loved Lee Priest’s physique and thought it was “next to none.”
