Important Ingredients

Mayonnaise – In this recipe, you can use any type of mayonnaise you choose. I used a light mayonnaise and the results were fantastic. Use your favorite vegan mayonnaise to make this vegan.

White Wine Vinegar — This slightly sweet and less acidic vinegar complements the creamy Italian dressing perfectly.

This recipe’s bright and zesty flavor is enhanced by white wine vinegar. You can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar if you don’t have white wine vinegar.

Italian seasoning – Always keep a bottle of Italian seasoning in your cabinet! Every dried herb you’ll ever need in an Italian recipe is included. This dressing only needs two teaspoons to provide plenty of flavor.

Chef’s Advice

  • Refrigerate this salad dressing for up to 5 days in an airtight container. If your creamy Italian dressing separates after being refrigerated, give it a brisk shake to recombine.
  • If you don’t feel like mixing, combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse to combine!
  • Allow this dressing to chill for several hours before serving. Allowing it to sit for a while allows the flavors to meld, making it even more delectable!

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon honey optional, see Notes

  • You can omit the honey, but a touch of sweetness helps to balance out the tastes in this dressing. If you don’t want to use honey, you can substitute white sugar or maple syrup.
