Ariel Rechtshaid and Danielle Haim are well-known figures in the music business.
In the music business, HAIM has established a reputation for itself and has received favorable reviews. Alana, Este, and Danielle Haim are the band’s three sisters.
Out of three sisters, Danielle sings lead, and the other sisters contribute to voice and instruments. The group has been producing songs for nearly ten years.
Typically, they have worked with a variety of producers, Rechtshaid being one of them.
The Grammy-winning producer has collaborated with numerous musicians, including U2, Charli XCX, Justin Bieber, Adele, Beyoncé, Madonna, and Madonna.
But perhaps HAIM is the person he cherishes the most. This is a result of his relationship with the band’s main singer.
Ariel Rechtshaid and Danielle Haim
Rechtshaid and Danielle first spoke in 2012. On January 28, 2021, the singer talked about how she initially met her boyfriend in an interview with NME.
Danielle had listened to Rechtshaid’s songs before meeting him. When she first heard “County Line” by Cass McCombs, she looked up the producer.
She discovered Rechtshaid’s identity and was enthralled by his skills. Afterward, a few weeks later, she heard Usher’s “Climax.”
She saw Rechtshaid was the music producer once more. The two immediately met after she informed her management that she wanted to speak with the producer.
They had chemistry and performed a couple of songs together, but until that point, nothing had happened between them.
When HAIM was in London on press tours and Rechtshaid was in the city mixing records, they became acquainted.
The producer claimed, “I suppose it was when Danielle and I instantly had this connection. It was a long build after that.” The remainder is history.
Although neither of them has specifically said when their relationship began, it is known that they are currently dating.
Danielle is not very active on social media, but Rechtshaid frequently updates his Instagram account with photographs of his lover.
Ariel Rechtshaid’s Cancer
As he was finishing up HAIM’s second album, Something to Tell You, in 2015, the Grammy-winning producer received a testicular cancer diagnosis.
The album was therefore postponed while Rechtshaid received therapy.
However, neither Rechtshaid nor HAIM made any mention of cancer in the former. They didn’t bring it up as a cause for the delay until after the album was made public.
Throughout his treatment, the sisters stood by their producer and supported him in the struggle. Unfortunately, Danielle suffered mental damage throughout that period.
Danielle had trouble coping with her boyfriend’s condition, the sisters said in an August 2020 interview with The Independent. She became melancholy as a result.
Danielle was able to overcome her sadness, though, with the aid of her sisters and a therapist. She also used the HAIM song “Summer Girl” as an outlet for her feelings after her boyfriend’s diagnosis.
After learning of his diagnosis, Danielle wrote it while traveling with her partner. She poured all of her emotions into the song because, of course, she wanted to be there for him.
Since Rechtshaid’s cancer was not her story to tell, she was not permitted to discuss it in public. She was happy that people were aware of “where the music was coming from” once their single was released, though.
Thankfully, Rechtshaid beat cancer, and he and his girlfriend are now more in love than ever.
