Dominick Reyes’s Exercise Program
One of the opponents you wouldn’t want to face is Dominick. He is the opponent you want in a UFC match. So if you’re also seeking for Dominick’s workout regimen to get in the form he’s in. Keep in mind that Dominick played American football through college and has a long history of doing so.
He can therefore gain a little more muscle and get the body he had thanks to that. After that, he took interest in the UFC and began preparing to compete in mixed martial arts.
So, moving on to his workout, I searched through interviews but was unable to locate any recent training schedules. No, the interview was conducted this year, which enables us to understand his routine.
However, I believe I was able to cover up a few aspects that may be mistaken for his routine because of Dominick’s Instagram account. Boxing is Dominick’s favorite activity, but he never manages to locate big men to practice with. As you can also see in this photo, Dominick frequently uses speed bags and punching bags.
Other than that, he concentrated on cardio exercises, and his cardio exercises typically involve HIIT training. It could involve activities like air biking or treadmill running. Dominick works out with a variety of weights to grow some muscle, but his regimen differs from that of a bodybuilder. It’s primarily about giving his upper body strength and power.
Additionally, he practices MMA combat frequently in the MMA gym, where he also engages in pad work, sparring, shadow training, core exercises, etc.
whatever Dominick’s trainer must have concocted. So, I suppose we can put together a schedule for you to follow that combines all of these exercises to give you Dominick’s physique. We will work out for three to four hours every day, six days a week.
Dominick Reyes exercises consist of:
Cardio
We’ll continue doing HIIT cardio on the treadmill and the bike. Sprints should be your main focus, and you shouldn’t push yourself too hard while exercising.
- 30-second treadmill (30 seconds interval)
- Air bike for ten minutes (30 seconds interval)
- 5-7 minute jump rope session
Combative Arts
After that, we’ll concentrate on a martial arts workout where you’ll warm up, practice with light pads, move on to heavy pads, etc. For greater instruction, it would be best to enroll in a local martial arts gym or dojo.
Strength Training
You will perform an hour of weight training in the evening following these two exercises. We will therefore perform our cardio and MMA training in the morning, and our weight training in the evening. When practicing a mixed routine using this pattern:
- upper body on Monday
- Strength training on Tuesday
- Wednesday: Perform a useful exercise
- tomorrow: lower body
- Strength training on Friday
- Saturday involves core exercises and compound movements.
Exercises like deadlifts, stiff-leg deadlifts, snatches, shoulder shrugs, shoulder presses, etc. should be your main focus.
