My entire family adores chicken roll-ups since they are such delicious supper.
When baked in a creamy sauce, flaky crescent rolls are rolled with tender, cooked chicken and broccoli. With just a few basic ingredients, this dish comes together quickly and easily.
Simple Dinner in a Flash
It is excellent to stuff crescent rolls with Chicken Roll Ups and cheese in a creamy sauce.
The wonderfully creamy sauce may make a routine day into something special! For every occasion, this comforting baked sweetness is ideal!
The best part is that you can fill these roll-ups with any ingredients you have on hand.
Components & Alterations
CHICKEN Although this recipe asks for chicken, roast beef, ham, or even leftover turkey would also work well. Use your imagination and include your favorites!
SAUCE If cream of chicken soup isn’t available, you can use any other creamed soup, such as mushroom or cream of broccoli. Or make a quick cheese sauce with spices and garlic powder. A jar of Alfredo will work just fine if everything else fails!
BROCCOLI Use leftover roasted broccoli or asparagus instead of steaming it! Include mushrooms or even any cooked vegetable leftovers.
How to make Chicken Wraps
Making this straightforward recipe only requires three easy steps:
- Make the sauce (as per the recipe below).
- Roll up crescents after filling them with chicken and cheese.
- Place there over the sauce, top with cheese, and bake.
Good appetite and let the meal rest for a few minutes so the sauce can set.
Guides to Success
Bake the crescents until they are perfectly crispy and golden. It’s crucial to not overcook these.
For this dish, make sure to use precooked meats. There won’t be enough time in the oven for raw meat to cook completely.
Last but not least, sharp cheddar enhances flavor, but if it’s not available, feel free to substitute your favorite. Lastly, as a garnish, try adding some colored sprinklings:
- cheese on top in excess!
- chopped, dried, or green onion-flavored herbs
- Adding a dash of dried or smoked chiles
- Even finely sliced jalapenos for a dash of extra heat on top can make this dish appear gorgeous and delectable!
Leftovers?
For up to 3 days, chicken roll-ups can be stored in the refrigerator.
Even while they taste pretty darn delicious cold, you can just reheat them in the microwave or toaster oven for a few minutes to restore their original quality. For that extra kick of spice, a few teaspoons of hot sauce will work!
