This amazing crack dip is perfect for parties or game days! It’s seasoned with ranch seasoning mix and has a creamy cheese base, tons of bacon, and cheddar. A crowd favorite!

This dip is sure to be a hit with the crowd, just like jalapeo popper dip or buffalo chicken dip!

I must admit that while I did not give this dip its name, I do enjoy making it! Crack Dip is simple, cheesy, and loaded with delicious bacon flavor.

The base is made oh-so-creamy with cream cheese, sour cream, and mayo and is flavored with ranch dressing mix (I make it homemade). Green onions, cheddar, and bacon bits or crumbles should also be added.

Variations

Spicy Add a few tablespoons of hot sauce or a few diced jalapenos.

Meaty Including chicken or sausage

Seasonings Italian dressing mix or your preferred fresh herbs can be substituted for ranch seasoning.

Cook, This dip can be baked at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling before serving.

Creating Crack Dip

It only takes two easy steps to complete this.

  1. Make use of an electric mixer to combine the first five items. Make sure the ingredients are at room temperature if you’re mixing by hand.
  2. They are now simpler to combine; just remember to chill them before serving. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving and then gently fold in the other ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1-ounce package ranch dressing mix
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • ⅓ cup bacon bits or 6 slices cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions sliced

  1. On medium speed, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise ranch mix, and garlic powder.
  2. Add additional ingredients and combine.
  3. At least one hour before serving, refrigerate.
