I love to have this citrus miso dressing on hand at all times since it can completely transform even the most basic vegetable dishes. It goes wonderfully with salads, slaws, and even do-it-yourself noodle bowls!

During a hectic work week, there is nothing more convenient than having a flavorful salad dressing readily available in the refrigerator.

Even the most basic dish can be elevated to the level of satiety by the addition of a flavorful sauce when time is of the essence. Making this citrus miso dressing has become my go-to preparation method as of late.

Clementine, lemon, miso, garlic, and ginger come together to create a vibrant and acidic flavor profile.

Consider this dressing a little bit of a health kick in addition to it having a delightful flavor, as all of these ingredients have cleansing characteristics and they are all included in it.

After you’ve mastered this miso salad dressing, you’ll want to use it in every possible application. Do you not know where to begin? Give one of these simple suggestions a shot:

  • Create a slaw by pouring it over sliced cabbage and a variety of other crunchy vegetables. Allow everything to marinate in the refrigerator together for at least a few hours and up to a full day.
  • Drizzle it over plain steamed veggies. It’s as simple as that!
  • Naturally, you should toss it with salads (you may find it on this salad made with cabbage)! In addition to grain bowls. It elevates the flavor of even the most humble vegetables.
  • Employ it as a sauce for cold noodles and vegetables stir-fried in a wok. To finish off the meal, sprinkle on some toasted cashews or peanuts and top it off with a protein of your choosing.

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together with a whisk. If you want your dressing to have more of a salty flavor, taste it and adjust the ingredients as necessary, adding more miso (or a bit of salt). When poured over veggies, the flavor of this dressing seems to take on a more subdued profile, which is something I appreciate.
  2. Put any leftover dressing in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
