Vodka Jello Shots are the ideal (for adults only) fruity, fun addition to any summer party! A simple cocktail shot made with Jell-o, water, and vodka is ideal for slurping!
Preparation time for Jello Shots is only 5 minutes (and an hour or so to chill). Pick any fruity gelatin flavor you like, along with some creatively designed ice cube molds or, if necessary, plain old ice cube pans.
But be careful to create a lot since they’ll disappear quickly! Cheers!
The finest jello shot recipe calls for flavored vodka so you can create a variety of vibrantly delicious adult treats! Therefore, let’s start the celebration!
What are Jello Shots?
Jello shot cups are popular little vodka-infused party snacks, just as the name suggests. Definitely not for children, but when you pop one or two (or more?!) down the hatch, you’ll feel like one!
Creating Jello Shots
Take one package of Jell-o gelatin; any flavor will suffice, but for a vibrant mix that looks wonderful on a dish or tray to pass around, try orange, cherry, watermelon, and lime!
- Boiling water with gelatin should be added, along with vodka and cold water.
- Pour gently into ice cube trays or 2 oz. molds, then chill until solid.
The ideal jello shot glasses, in our opinion, are shallow 2 oz. condiment cups. The depth is exactly great for scooping out!
How long do Jello Shots take to set?
Within an hour, most jello will have substantially firmed up. Make them a few hours in advance, though, to ensure that they are perfectly hard, icy, and ready to serve. Pass out your jello shots with some whipped cream for an extra touch of “fancy” and a delicious dollop of creaminess!
Make the jello with complementary flavored vodka to surprise your visitors! You can even make orange creamsicle jello shots using vanilla vodka and orange gelatin by mixing watermelon vodka with watermelon gelatin and citrus vodka with lime gelatin!
Make your next event the one that everyone speaks about by using your imagination!
