If you want to make this quiche even simpler, you can certainly use a premade, frozen pie crust that has already been pressed into a disposable pan, but I prefer to roll out my own and bake it in one of my own pie plates. No one will be aware of the shortcuts we used in this manner!

Making This Simple Quiche Recipe Tip:

  • This recipe really couldn’t be any simpler: just use a premade pie crust, add your favorite ingredients, eggs, and milk, and bake.
  • Many of the quiche recipes you will find use pre-cooked ingredients and call for an additional pan as well as more preparation time. To make this simple breakfast quiche recipe come together as quickly as possible, we’re using cooked, cubed ham and green onions.
  • Keep an eye on the quiche as it bakes to prevent the top crust from getting overly browned while the eggs are cooking. If necessary, use a small piece of foil to cover the crust’s outer ring to stop it from getting any darker.
  • Try making a Puff Pastry Quiche or these Easy Mini Quiches made with wonton wrappers if you don’t like the traditional pie crust!

Can You Prepare a Quiche in Advance?

Of course! After baking, allow the quiche to cool for up to two hours on the counter before storing it in the fridge. Cover the quiche with foil and reheat it in the oven at around 325°F (until just heated). Prior to refrigeration, it should be cooled to maintain a slightly crispier crust.

How to Make a Quiche Without a Crust:

You may completely exclude the crust and turn this into a crustless quiche recipe if you’re seeking a gluten-free substitute or you simply don’t like crust (hey, we all have our own tastes!). It’s that simple!

Just remember to oil the pie plate first because cooked eggs can be challenging to remove!

You may just bake a crustless quiche until the eggs are entirely set throughout the middle as you won’t need to keep an eye on the crust for indicators of doneness.
