Biography

Short Career Of Ekaterina ShokhinaEkaterina Shokhina

Born and reared in Moscow, Russia, Ekaterina Shokhina. The horizontal bar, steps, rope climb, barbells, and dumbbells are just a few of the gym and sports tools Ekaterina explored as a young child.

“Iron did not fear me,” she claims as a result. Ekaterina eventually developed a fascination for the fitness way of life.

Preparing For Her First ContestEkaterina Shokhina

As she started college, Ekaterina took weightlifting even more seriously and looked up to her brother, who was interested in “aesthetic bodybuilding.”

She began investigating the subject of female fitness competitions to follow in his footsteps.

A bikini competitor named Oli Petrova, according to Ekaterina, was the athlete who initially inspired her. Ekaterina praised her for having a beautiful physique that was also athletic.

Ekaterina began seeking a trainer who could help her get ready for her first bikini competition because she wanted to be like her idol.

Yvette Statsenko, a well-known coach in Moscow, was soon discovered by her after she stumbled across her on online forums.

Yvette greeted Ekaterina as soon as she arrived at their meeting with the coach to discuss their preparations for her upcoming performance.

The Bikini Debut

Ekaterina’s training had Yvette’s undivided attention as she observed every small element of her exercise routine, diet, posing, and overall appearance.

Ekaterina acknowledges Yvette’s generosity and adds, “She didn’t take a penny of money from me!”

In the spring of 2014, she participated in her first competition and finished in fourth place in Moscow. She wasted no time after that in getting ready for a subsequent event that was only a week away.

Ekaterina improved on her performance from the first show and won second place in the Moscow Cup, which was a competition. It was a dream come true for her, she adds, and she was overjoyed.

Obtaining Pro Status

Month after month, Ekaterina kept up her normal competition schedule and won accolades like the overall Olympia Moscow winner and the Russian national championship.

She took part in the Olympia Amateur World Showdown in 2015 and battled against the top amateur athletes, earning both her Pro Card and the title of Absolute Champion.

Life In General

Ekaterina Shokhina is a fitness model and competitor in addition to being a busy mother of four children. To keep up with her obligations, plans, and ambitions, she needs to schedule her time days in advance.

Training

Compared to other bikini competitors, Ekaterina trains similarly to them. Her sole exception is her legs, which she trains twice a week. She exercises five to six times per week, focusing on different muscle groups each day. Depending on the set, she takes a 30- to 2-minute break.

In addition to my regular workouts, I work on strengthening my legs every day before competitions.

Ekaterina undertakes no cardiovascular exercise. She thinks that a healthy diet and rigorous exercise are sufficient for shaping an excellent, and in her case, stage-ready physique.

Strengthening Your Legs

Ekaterina initially became aware of this as she began to train for her competitions and found her legs to be inferior to her upper body.

She added a unique workout regimen that was centered on building muscle mass in her legs as a consequence.

After adhering to her unique training program for several months, Ekaterina was able to gain a sizable amount of bulk on her lower body.

Such was the appearance;

Initial Day: Quads

  • four rounds of twelve squats with warm-up exercises
  • Squats on a Smith machine, four repetitions of 30 to 40.
  • Leg press – 430–40
  • Simulation extensions: 425
  • Second day: Hamstrings
  • Smith Falls: 415 on each leg

Superset:

  • Romanian Deadlifts: Pyramid, 15-12-10-8

Best Body Parts

Ekaterina enjoys working out her glutes the most. Given that it took her a long time and a lot of effort to grow her glute and legs, she takes great satisfaction in them.

Nutrition, (Fitness)

Ekaterina claims that she will eat nearly anything during the off-season. When I feel like eating, I eat, she explains. Concerning this, I’m unconcerned. Just enough water, about 5 liters per day, is all she needs to do.

I binge on junk food like pecans and chocolates during the off-season.

When she prepares for her competitions, though, her strategy alters. Lean chicken breasts, egg whites, salads, high-quality carbs, and cucumbers are the only meals she will eat during these times. She will exclude all bad foods from her diet.

During the weeks leading up to competitions, she maintains a 300-gram daily carbohydrate consumption. Although all of those carbohydrates are slow-releasing, she won’t gain any weight because she won’t have an insulin rise as a result.

Supplement Stack Of Ekaterina

  • Glutamine
  • Pure Whey Protein
  • Creatine (off-season)
  • Vitamins

Influences And Idols

Ekaterina was inspired by Oli Putrova’s incredible figure to begin working out properly, but it was Yvette Statsenko who gave her the stage confidence to succeed.

Both of these idols served as Ekaterina’s sources of inspiration and motivation. Ekaterina acknowledges their inspiration and expresses her sincere gratitude.
