Elena Soboleva, who was born and reared in icy Siberia, spent her formative years with her grandparents on a farm where she looked after the animals and tended to the crops.

Elena experienced growing body issues as she got older. She was the complete antithesis of what Russian beauty standards called for, being 5’1″ tall and having “heavy thighs.”

I was a really shy girl with very nothing to do and very few people to socialize with. In my nation, being extremely thin was considered to be “beautiful.”

The way I looked always made me stand out. I’ve never been thin enough. It seriously screwed with my head.

Elena had two full-time jobs on top of everything else, which significantly reduced her spare time. She didn’t have enough time to make herself some nutritious meals. Instead, she chose quick, easy meals from fast food restaurants.

Elena’s health quickly deteriorated as a result of the stress of her fast-paced lifestyle. She quickly piled on more than 20 pounds of extra weight. Elena explains, “I understood I need to make a difference.

Using Exercise To Change Her Life

Elena began running at night to reduce her weight. She also improved her diet by adding healthier items to her daily routine.

However, Elena’s development wasn’t obvious until she bought a gym membership. She started weight training, and the results were amazing.

Elena will cut out all sugars from her diet when she wants to lose weight. She’ll also consume the fewest amount of carbs possible overall.

She will, however, typically stick to her usual “lean gains” diet, which includes lots of chicken, brown rice, red meat, fruits, and veggies.
