How Do You Make It?
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with all-purpose spice or salt and pepper.
- Fill the Instant Pot with the chicken broth and the trivet. Close the cover after placing the chicken breasts on the trivet. Set the vent to closed.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes on Manual High Pressure. Allow 5 minutes for natural release after the timer has expired, then Quick Release any remaining pressure.
- Serve as is or combine with cooked chicken in a meal.
Chef’s Advice
- The chicken should be lovely and cooked after around 10 minutes for 6-8 ounce breasts. The chicken will be slightly firmer after 11 minutes. Cook for 13 minutes for a 9-10 ounce breast and 15 minutes for a 12-ounce breast.
- If you’re using all-purpose seasoning, leave off the salt or your chicken will be overly salty.
