Asian noodle salad ingredients

If you have any leftover spaghetti or even grilled chicken breasts from last night’s meal, turn to this recipe for Asian noodle salad. Other items are sourced from the section of fresh produce:

  • Noodles: Spaghetti, rice noodles, soba noodles—any kind of noodle is acceptable!
  • Use bottled dressing and flavor it with soy sauce, rice vinegar, fresh ginger, peanut butter, and/or additional sriracha if you want to keep it simple. Make your own sesame or peanut dressing if you have the time.
  • Broccoli florets, carrots, sugar snap peas, and bean sprouts are examples of vegetables. Add your personal preferences, like edamame or chopped cabbage. Garnishes have more purpose than just aesthetic appeal.
  • Flavor Boosters Add the chopped cilantro, toasted almond slivers, mandarin oranges, and green onion.
  • Shredded chicken, grilled shrimp, or salted peanuts are available as optional add-ins.

Asian Noodle Salad Recipe

  1. Boil Noodles: As directed in the recipe below, boil the pasta or noodles in a sizable saucepan just until al dente. Good drainage
  2. Cut Veggies: Cut the vegetables while the pasta is cooking.
  3. Mix: In a sizable bowl, combine the vegetables, noodles, and dressing. Add garnish and savor.

Leftovers

Asian noodle salad can be prepared weeks in advance and eaten for lunch every day. Before storing, toss with sesame ginger dressing to let the flavors meld. Since the noodles will soak up more fluids, dress lavishly.

In the event that cooked chicken is included, firmly sealed leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator for approximately three days. It lasts for around 5 days without chicken. When serving, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

What Should I Pair It With?

This one-pot dish is well balanced when chicken is added to it. No need to mess with side dishes when you have meat, vegetables, and starch all in one bowl! It works well as a side dish for Teriyaki Grilled Chicken Thighs as well.

Serve the food in the style of an Asian restaurant, complete with bowls of hot and sweet dipping sauces and crunchy fried noodles. The dinner will be finished off with a pitcher of refreshing strawberry lemonade.
