Dessert has never been healthier or so delicious.

Traditional hummus is a delicious dip prepared from chickpeas. In this recipe, we substitute chocolate, vanilla, and sugar for savory tastes. Although it still tastes like a delight, the chickpea dip is nutritious.

Instead of using cocoa powder, we utilize the flavorful and nutritious Cacao Bliss. This creates a delectable dessert while boosting the number of nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Ingredients for Chocolate Hummus

CHICKPEAS – (also known as garbanzo beans) are the foundation of this healthful dip and, like conventional savory hummus, they are packed with fiber, protein, and plenty of vitamins.

TAHINI – Tahini is a sesame seed paste that has a consistency somewhat resembling peanut butter but is a bit thinner. Almond butter, cashew butter, or natural peanut butter can all be used in place of the butter in this recipe.

Cacao Bliss is a genuine superfood concoction. We appreciate that it gives a luscious flavor without the use of artificial sweeteners or flavors.

It works well as a morning beverage as well as in a variety of recipes for baked goods, smoothies, dips, and even no-churn ice cream.

A blend of ancient superfoods and raw cacao beans creates CACAO BLISS, a nutrient-dense superfood with a deep chocolate flavor. It can make pastries and treats guilt-free because it is so nutrient-dense and organically sweetened.

We use brown sugar as a sweetener, but you are free to use maple syrup, monk fruit sweetener, or another sweetener of your preference. The flavor of this dessert hummus dish is enhanced by vanilla essence.

Making Chocolate Hummus

The simplest dessert ever is chocolate hummus!

  1. Garbanzo bean preparation.

  3. To achieve the correct consistency, gradually add more liquid or even almond milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  4. Serve alongside cookies, fruit, or pretzels.

PRO TIP: Keep the aquafaba (also known as chickpea liquid) in the can so you may thicken the hummus if necessary. After that, put the remaining liquid in ice cube trays to freeze so you may use it later to thicken sauces and soups.

Drained garbanzo beans are used in this dish. Cook, drain, and allow dry garbanzo beans to cool completely before using.

If necessary, reserve the aquafaba (also known as chickpea liquid) from the can to thin out the hummus. After that, put the remaining liquid in ice cube trays to freeze so you may use it later to thicken sauces and soups.

Garbanzo beans and chickpeas do not require peeling, however, you can remove a portion of the skin for a smoother texture.

You can use any other nut butter in place of the tahini.

For up to 4 days, leftover hummus can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Before reserving, thoroughly combine.
