  4. Add the water and beef broth and whisk until smooth. until thickened, simmer.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of Cheese Curds

fries

  • 2 large baking potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • seasoned salt to taste

brown gravy

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 ¼ cup condensed beef broth

Instructions

  1. Turn on the 375°F oven. Using parchment paper, line a sizable baking sheet.
  2. Peeled potatoes should be washed and sliced into 14″ fries.
  3. Give potatoes at least 30 minutes to soak in a bowl or the sink of cold water. Remove from water and thoroughly pat dry.
  4. Add salt and oil and toss. Spread out in a single layer on the prepared pan.
  5. For 20 minutes, bake. Fries will continue to fry for another 20 to 25 minutes at a higher temperature of 425 degrees while being stirred.

  1. Fries can be baked while onions are softened in oil over medium heat. Seasonings and garlic are added. For two minutes, cook.
  2. When the butter is melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for 5 minutes.
  3. A little at a time, add beef broth and 1 cup of water. Stir after each addition until smooth. Heat to a rolling boil, then lower to a simmer and cook for two minutes. Through a mesh strainer, filter.
