Important Ingredients For Beef Back Ribs
Back Ribs of Beef – After the butcher takes the ribeye roast from the bones, the meat left is beef back ribs. These ribs are recognized for being exceptionally skinny due to their lack of meat content.
Though there is still a good amount of meat, which is juicy and tasty when cooked properly! This recipe can be made with either a whole rack of beef back ribs or cut ribs.
Because a complete rack of ribs is often difficult to come by, I used cut ribs.
Smoked Paprika — Because these ribs are baked in the oven, the smoked paprika gives them the same delicious smokey flavor as if they were grilled on the grill.
If you don’t have smoked paprika, I strongly advise you to purchase some. However, you may certainly substitute ordinary paprika!
Chef’s Advice
- Avoid taking the ribs out of the oven until they’ve been cooking for at least 3 hours. The meat absorbs as much flavor as possible by baking it wrapped in foil. You risk releasing too much steam, and thus flavor, from the beef back ribs if you check on them too soon.
- These ribs are best eaten right after they’ve been cooked! However, leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. To reheat the ribs, place them on a baking sheet, cover them with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until heated through.
- Make no attempt to raise the oven’s temperature. Four hours may sound excessive, but believe me when I say it is well worth it! Low and slow cooking allows the collagen in the meat to progressively break down, resulting in exceptionally soft beef.
