But James’ journey wasn’t without its bumps; he had a difficult beginning marked by uncertainty.

Biography

Young Years

James lacked confidence when he was a high school student growing up. He would be a convenient target for the bullies. They’d make fun of him and shove him.

Perhaps they felt the need to hold James back because they could see something inside of him that was too great for them to handle.

He was a member of the track and field team when he was younger and he displayed his impressive athleticism. He would still encounter humiliating situations, such as being pushed into the lake, despite his athletic strength.

This had a significant negative impact on James’ self-confidence; he began to walk around with his head down and had to find the willpower to stand up to the bullies and prove their wrongdoing.

He also had academic problems; his work was of below-average quality, and he nearly failed classes. James’ situation didn’t initially seem promising.

James surprised everyone by enrolling in college after finishing high school.

Friends would make fun of him and point out potential failures; even his teachers would wager on how long he would stay before failing or quitting school.

James didn’t begin to reevaluate his outlook on life until his mother drew him aside and showed him some “tough love.”

Achieving World-Class Athletic Status

after talking to his mother, who told him in no uncertain terms that everyone was betting against his succeeding or saw no future for him.

His mother was the one who inspired him and encouraged him to use criticism as fuel to disprove everyone’s assumptions. James did precisely that and changed his entire life.

James disproved everyone by graduating from college with honors and becoming incomparably shredded.

He remained steadfast and applied the motivation his mother had given him to move forward and make the most of each circumstance.

One of the world’s top fitness models, he has starred in several television programs, commercials, and even movies as an ancient warrior. It is obvious that James took his mother’s counsel to heart and lived the best life he could.

James has been competing for several years and has established a solid reputation as a top-tier fitness model. He is now among the top three WBFF Pro competitors to have graced the stage in Las Vegas.

He keeps working to achieve his objectives of starting a prosperous online personal training business and maintaining his physical fitness for countless picture shoots and magazine covers.

Training

James Ellis will frequently perform 12, 10, and 8, and occasionally he will include additional sets with heavier weights. He’ll focus on hypertrophy for most of his workouts, but he’ll mix it up at the end by adding a challenging set for strength.

He usually uses the treadmill or ventures outside for sprint sessions on Day 3, which is a HIIT day.

“I maintain a trim, athletic physique all year long. I can get very sliced up in 3-5 days with a short diet and fitness routine, but in general, I’m always prepared to photograph covers.

Nutrition

James Ellis consumes lean proteins, good fats, and complex carbohydrates. For his protein, he enjoys chicken, fish, turkey, egg whites, and Greek yogurt.

He will consume a lot of veggies, such as grilled asparagus and broccoli, along with brown rice, sweet potatoes, oats, and rice cakes for carbohydrates.

Influences and Idols

James’s all-time favorite bodybuilder is Jay Cutler, and he looked up to Greg Plitt as an inspiration for fitness models because of the work he put into his career and training.

What we can learn from James Ellis is that despite being bullied to the point where he lost all hope for the future, he recovered with the aid of some tough love.

Since then, he has developed steadily by making appearances in prestigious Hollywood films and television series and by getting his Pro card in the WBFF.

  1. Train Hard or Go Home. Make sure you aren’t training though as it defeats the whole purpose.
  2. Eat clean – I focus on high protein, low fat, and carbs only in the morning and before and after my workouts.
  3. Get plenty of sleep – If you are truly training like a freak then you should be getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night. Remember, this is when your body is repairing the muscle you break down, so give it enough time to do so. – James Ellis
