Biography
Young Years
Jason, who was born and raised in Florida (USA), was always interested in fitness; he looked up to the strong men in comic books and aspired to have a physique just like theirs.
Jason started asking for a barbell bench press for his birthday starting at the age of 10 in 1999. It wasn’t until 1992, when he was 13 years old, that he received his first set of weights.
Start of Fitness Journey
Jason Blank was given a barbell bench press set, but he lacked the strength to raise the 45 lb (20 kg) bar.
He started doing press-ups and crunches every night to start weight training since he was driven to get stronger.
By the time Jason was 14 years old, he had outgrown his modest barbell set due to his strength, and his mother had persuaded him to join the neighborhood gym.
He began to improve his physique at this point.
Bodybuilding
Jason started off making a lot of mistakes, which was to be anticipated from a young and inexperienced weight-lifter.
He tried to lift weights that were too heavy for him, feeding his ego rather than emphasizing his form since he thought that was the secret to building muscle.
Jason consequently didn’t see much improvement in his physique.
He soon became aware of his errors, though, and attempted to fix them by beginning to lift lesser weights and putting more of an emphasis on adhering to a well-planned diet.
Jason worked hard over the following 13 years to gradually develop his ideal body. He had won NPC events by the time he was 27 years old in 2016, and he had earned praise for his tenacity and drive.
Training
Jason firmly believes in working out hard while maintaining a simple workout regimen.
He focuses a lot of emphasis on the “mind-muscle link” and thinks that by paying close attention to each movement during his weight-training sessions, he stimulates more muscle fibers.
Jason also understands the value of emphasizing form over weight and never goes to the gym to satisfy his ego instead of correctly working each muscle group.
