Jayne rose through the ranks to finish in the top 10 of junior half-marathons as a result of her physical prowess, diligence, and competitive spirit.

Her sister and brother, who were both top-level triathletes and swimmers at the national level, were not surprised by her accomplishment because she comes from a family of athletes.

Jayne spent the majority of her first few years in the UK attending Bristol University to pursue her academic interests. She did, however, participate in athletics on the side.

She participated in cross-country races in her first year before switching to boxing in her second and third years at the university. In her third year in Bristol, Jayne eventually rose to the position of captain for the Women’s boxing squad.

Jayne relocated to London after earning her undergraduate degree to continue her education there. She eventually graduated with honors from her master’s program. She made progress on her fitness journey during this time, turning it into a full-time profession.

She started hosting fitness boot camps for anyone wishing to enhance their physical and mental well-being.

Training

Getting ready for competitions

Jayne Lo exercised with weights four to five days a week and engaged in 360 to 450 minutes of cardio per week when she was competing.

In the 12 to 15 weeks before the show, she performed this. Jayne claimed that to say this was challenging would be an understatement, but she won multiple trophies as a result of her diligence.

Nutrition

Lean meats, grass-fed animal fat, avocados, olive oils, and complex carbohydrates like oats, yams, and brown rice make up the bulk of Jayne’s diet.

She advises others to achieve a balance in their diets while also relishing occasional outings to her favorite restaurants.

Jayne cautions that not everyone will find what she does to be effective. She encourages experimenting to see what works because of this. As she put it;

“The internet and social media are plenty with different techniques. There is no “correct way” for someone to approach nutrition.

By reading journals or working with a skilled coach, you may make informed decisions. Stick to what you find to be effective for you. Do things differently if it doesn’t. (Jayne Lo)
