Undereating When Partying

Jaz Correll, an Australian native from Melbourne, never showed any interest in athletics or physical fitness as a child. She recalls herself as “the slim girl” who preferred partying to exercising and maintaining a good diet.

As Jaz transitioned out of adolescence, this altered.

She started eating only lean, low-calorie foods and strict veganism. She thought that doing this would keep her strong and healthy.

Although this strategy was better for her than her previous partying and drinking ways. Jaz finally understood that by eating so little, she was doing more harm to her health than good.

“I wasn’t aware of it at the time, but I was significantly undereating after switching to a completely vegan diet!” said Jaz.

Exercise Experience

As soon as Jaz walked into the gym and began lifting weights, things started to improve for her. She thought that lifting weights would increase her metabolism, allowing her to consume more food.
