Biography

Young Years

Jeff Cavaliere was born and reared in Connecticut (USA), where he first developed a love for physical training at a very young age. He was inspired by the ripped bodies of professional wrestlers, movie actors, and bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Jeff was attracted by these muscular celebs and as he grew older, he started to yearn for a comparable physique. But he didn’t begin weight training at the gym until he was in high school.

Beginning A Fitness Journey

Jeff Cavaliere

Jeff Cavaliere was introduced to weightlifting as he started high school during competitive sports classes; he soon understood that working out in the gym was the key to reaching his ideal physique and would also help him get better at his hobbies, like baseball and soccer.

To play sports at the greatest level, Jeff put in a lot of effort to increase his lean muscle mass and strength.

“After one summer of regular exercise, I not only began to notice abs, but I was also finding it simpler to complete my tasks on the field.” Jeffrey Cavaliere

College

After he finished high school, Jeff enrolled at the University of Connecticut to study Physioneurobiology. He later earned a master’s degree in physical therapy there as well.

Jeff developed a strong love for the New York Mets during this time, attending every game with a fervent following. Because of this, his goal was to become a physical therapist and work in the field after he finished.

With this as his main objective, Jeff worked hard to acquire his master’s degree and realize his dream.

I was an enthusiastic Mets fan growing up. Throughout my whole undergraduate career, I watched every inning of every game and lived and breathed the team. Jeffrey Cavaliere

Personal Trainer

Jeff Cavaliere earned a BA in physioneurobiology from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in physical therapy over five years after he enrolled.

After obtaining the required credentials, Jeff didn’t waste any time in starting a private practice in his hometown. He never let go of his objective, which was to land a career in the baseball industry.

Mets Of New York

Jeff had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, like Mark Johnson, when he was operating as a physical therapist on his own (a New York Mets athlete).

Mark notified Jeff of a vacancy at the club after the head physical therapist had moved to another baseball team after impressing the baseball star with his work.

With Mark Johnson’s strong endorsement, Jeff was able to land the job of the head physical therapist in 2006 at the age of 31, realizing his dream of working in the baseball business.

“In two months, I essentially transitioned from my private practice in CT/NY to the major leagues.

It was a chance I will always treasure and remember with happiness because it was a dream come true for me. My life was altered by it. Jeffrey Cavaliere

Entrepreneur

After working for the New York Mets for three years as their chief physical therapist and assistant strength coach, Jeff made a significant choice.

The constant travel required by his job had taken a toll on him, and after visiting 14 cities in one day, he started to second-guess his choice.

After getting married, Jeff wanted to spend more time at home because he had become weary of traveling and living out of a bag. As a result, Jeff submitted his resignation from the baseball team in 2009 at the age of 34.

But this just strengthened his resolve to begin a new chapter in his life; almost right away, Jeff wrote several books on exercise and created a training regimen that would go on to become one of the most well-liked online fitness resources.

“I got married and bought a house in the winter before my 2008 season, and eventually the draw of “home” and the opportunity to spend a summer day with my family became more than my desire to stay in the game.” Jeffrey Cavaliere

Internet Celebrity And Fitness Expert

As a result, Jeff gained notoriety as a key player in the fitness sector and adopted the moniker “AthLEAN-X.”

“While I always have a plan, I have the flexibility to adjust as necessary to the level of effort I receive on any given day.”

Nutrition

Jeff has always understood the value of nutrition when trying to build a lean body about his diet. He prefers eating six smaller meals spaced out throughout the day; this keeps his metabolism active and aids in his year-round maintenance of a trim physique.

Lean proteins, fruit, veggies, and complex carbohydrates are the main components of Jeff’s meal plans, albeit he skips carbs later in the day. To meet his daily macros, he incorporates protein shakes.
