Who is Jonny Bernstein?

A professional IFBB Men’s Physique competitor from Mission Hills, California is named Jonny Bernstein.

Since his debut at the NPC Spartan Championships in 2013, he has participated in bodybuilding competitions.

Short Career of Jonny Bernstein

After winning a third-place trophy at his first competition, Jonny Bernstein decided to prioritize bodybuilding and make fitness his full-time profession.

He consequently started working out really in the gym to obtain a Pro Card and go pro. It didn’t take long for Jonny to achieve his goals because of his efforts.

He received his Pro Card in 2015, making him one of the youngest IFBB athletes to compete at Mr. Olympia, finishing 16th overall.

Training

Exercise each day

No break days are included in Jonny’s training schedule; he trains every day of the week to reach his full potential as a bodybuilder.

He can hit every body part twice a week except his arms thanks to this, which, in his opinion, has greatly increased his size.

Simple Principles

Jonny Bernstein exercises similarly to every other professional bodybuilder, aiming to lift the most weight for 8–12 repetitions while maintaining proper form.

Jonny takes a brief break of 30 to 45 seconds in between each set of solitary exercises. Jonny will, however, take a 120-second break after performing challenging compound movements to give his muscles time to recover before the following set.

Aiming for simplicity

Jonny adheres to typical bodybuilder recommendations for developing an aesthetically pleasing and lean physique, much like he does with his training regimen.

To put it another way, he follows a strict diet when getting ready for a performance, eating things like lean chicken, low-glycemic fruits, green leafy vegetables, red potatoes, etc.

However, he will allow himself to loosen up with his diet more during the off-season. This indicates that Jonny will occasionally eat cheat meals without worrying about putting on weight.

A double bacon cheeseburger with a side of pizza, french fries, and strawberry cheesecake ice cream is some of Jonny’s go-to cheat meals.
