Training

Short Career of Josh Bergeron Josh Bergeron

Josh Bergeron’s body is a result of his creative gym-based training. He takes pleasure in developing his workout regimens, mixing ‘classic’ activities like pullovers with cutting-edge isolation workouts.

He works out five to six times a week on average. His gym sessions run for about one and a half hours.

His preferred body parts are his chest and arms, while his shoulders are his least preferred. Josh works his shoulders so hard that “it almost hurts.”

To maximize muscular growth, he also incorporates techniques like drop-sets, supersets, and forced reps.

Josh frequently cuts the time between sets to keep his pulse rate up. He can simultaneously conduct aerobic and weight training in this way.

Josh works out hard, but his major priorities are form and muscular contraction. Josh is willing to give up weight if it means having the best form. He stated:

“I watch a ton of individuals try to lift the most weight possible while losing form and weakening the muscle they are trying to target. That is essentially pointless.

Training For Josh Bergeron’s legsJosh Bergeron

Josh begins working his legs by performing four rounds of lying leg curls followed by stationary lunges. These two exercises both focus on his hamstrings.

Josh makes cautious about keeping good technique while performing hamstring curls. He moves on to lunges after completing hamstring curls, stretching his hamstrings, and working his quads as he ascends.

Josh continues with another superset after completing the lunges and hamstring curls. This time, he performs 20 repetitions of narrow-stance squats followed by 10 repetitions of heavy wide-stance squats.

Josh’s glutes and hamstrings get a good workout from the wide squat, but his outside quads get the most attention from the narrow stance.

Josh then performs 4 rounds of walking lunges and 4 sets of leg extensions. His rep range for both workouts is 15. He performs heavyweight standing calf raises as his final workout.

Joe stretches his calves at the bottom and squeezes them at the peak of his stance, toes pointed out and heels in.

Josh explains, “I perform 10-15 reps in this manner, then while remaining on the platform but without any weight, turn my feet toes in heels out and do 25 reps to work the calves.”

Biceps Exercise

Josh starts his biceps exercise with lying wire curls. He performs this exercise in 4 sets of 12 repetitions.

In essence, a flat bench with one end as close as possible to the cable itself is placed at the top of a cable machine with a re-curved bar attached. Joshua Bergeron

Josh begins by locking out his elbows while lying flat on his back, then slowly curls the cable towards the direction of his forehead. He will hold his biceps tight for a brief period before gradually locking his elbows out once more.

The key to this exercise is to squeeze the full contraction of the movement, according to Josh’s advice for laying cable curls.

Josh performs dumbbell concentration curls after completing the cable curls. He doesn’t focus too much on the weight in this workout. He likes to keep things light and go for the “pump,” though.

Josh will gently rise while starting with his elbows fully locked out, twisting the dumbbell once he reaches the top. He will then gradually return the dumbbell to its initial position while maintaining tension in his biceps.

He will perform the exercise with alternate arms for a total of 4 sets of 15 repetitions per arm.

Nutrition

Diet Of Josh

Josh Bergeron prefers to consume a diet that is high in protein, moderate in fat, and moderate in carbs. Lean poultry meat, eggs, low-fat cheese, brown rice, sweet potatoes, green vegetables, and at least one piece of fruit per day are all part of his daily diet.

When Josh has a competition coming up, he’ll make a few minor dietary adjustments. He will start by consuming fewer calories from fats and carbohydrates.

This provides him more room to increase his protein intake, which is necessary to keep his muscles from deteriorating during a cut.

Second, Josh will consume more water. He typically consumes about a gallon of water each day, but during the pre-contest, he will consume about two gallons. Finally, he will increase his vegetable intake to keep himself satisfied all day.

Supplements

Josh only uses whey protein to reach his daily protein goal; he doesn’t take many other supplements.

Josh will take BCAAs and fat burners to help him preserve muscle and burn fat more quickly when he is competing, which is the sole time when this rule does not apply.
