Biography
The Gym as a Haven
Oakland, California, was the birthplace of Kali Muscle in 1975. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, who were abusive, in a very dangerous and criminally active neighborhood.
Kali Muscle utilized the neighborhood gym as a haven when he was an adolescent to escape. He was happy to have the ability to spend his free time lifting weights for no charge after landing a job at a “24 Hour Fitness” gym.
But when he got back home, he started acting violently again. He claims that other students repeatedly threatened to kill him in primary school, forcing him to purchase a gun.
An Interest in Sports
Kali excelled at many sports outside of the gym and played them. He participated in running and wrestling while a high school student and won a football scholarship to Fresno State University.
This passion for sports, according to Kali, is one of the key reasons he is still alive today. He needed something in his life that he could appreciate because he didn’t have a nice time at home or school.
His Life Disintegrates
His elder brother killed himself while having fun with a gun when Kali was away at college. Because Kali had never known the impacts of gun violence in his own family, this was a significant turning point in his life.
After that, Kali’s life appeared to go downhill as he turned to crime. He lost all of his money, and to survive, he turned to robbery. He was imprisoned for 11 years in San Quentin State Prison after being arrested for one of his crimes.
Serving a Prison Sentence
When he was put in jail, Kali once more turned to exercise for comfort. He used to go to the prison gym and loved to lift weights in his spare time while trying to acquire weight by consuming meals from the prison.
He claims that while incarcerated, he put on a lot of muscle and at one point weighed 230 pounds.
Unfortunately, the guards chose to take the weights out of the gym while he was serving his term. As a result, there was a commotion within the facility, and the prisoners tossed fruit at the security personnel.
Leaving Prison And Starting A Career
In 2010, Kali was released from prison and started to pursue a career as a bodybuilder and actor.
After relocating to Los Angeles, he was able to get a spot in a Jamey Johnson music video, where he did what he does best: work out.
Kali has performed in notable videos like these in addition to her profession as a bodybuilder. He worked out for a full year to get in condition for the Mr. California competition in 2012, and he was able to win handily
Launching a YouTube channel
He also started his (now well-known) YouTube account at this time. He covers nutrition, bodybuilding, and general fitness issues on this channel.
In 2017, this channel’s subscriber base steadily increased to over 1 million. He was incredibly proud of the effort he had put down to build up this fan base.
Contributing To His Community
Kali established the “From Ex-Con to Icon” initiative as a way to give back to the neighborhood where he was raised. This program was developed to motivate young people in underprivileged areas to steer clear of crime.
The role of Kali in the plan was that of a motivating speaker. He spoke to groups of young people, inspiring them with words of hope. In addition, Kali used these occasions to distribute copies of his autobiography, “XCON TO ICON,” which describes his rise to popularity.
The Steroid Dilemma
Kali claims that during his bodybuilding career, he has never used steroids. He maintains this narrative in interviews, but given his enormous size, many have questioned these assertions.
In any case, Kali has established himself in the fitness and comedy genres thanks to this muscle bulk and has become one of YouTube’s most popular entertainers.
Training
Heavy Training To Maximize Muscle Gains
Since his time in prison, Kali has engaged in intense training. To push his body to its limits, he performs a lot of complex exercises throughout his program.
The barbell squat and bench press are two of his favorite complex workouts. In Kali’s practice, these exercises are a mainstay, and the other exercises are centered around them.
Creating A Workout For Prisoners
While incarcerated, Kali created a creative exercise regimen that made use of various inmate-accessible items. He used other men’s bodies as weights and platforms, along with rubbish bags and water bottles.
Kali’s Muscle’s inventiveness in his fitness routine frequently led him to problems. He would exercise in his cell since the guards on his prison wing found it annoying, and he was a few times put in solitary because of his opposition to this.
These Prison Exercises are also featured on Kali’s YouTube channel. He claims that the prisoners exercised while they were incarcerated because they had to be prepared to fight at any moment.
He claims that the training must be finished with “intensity” and sincerity as a result.
“I know the majority of you out there think that you need some type of special potion to get “SWOLE”, and Yes you do, it’s called AMBITION, DEDICATION, AND BELIEF.”

Kali Muscle consumes a lot of calories in her diet. He claims that he did the same while he was incarcerated and consumed anything he could, frequently turning to tuna in a can to meet his protein requirements.

A gallon of water every day, according to Kali, is essential for his health and attractiveness. He drinks this water to help with protein synthesis and to rehydrate after his strenuous workouts.
Supplements
He doesn’t take supplements since he thinks protein powder isn’t a good alternative.
According to Kali, he observes far too many guys who believe they may gain weight by continuously utilizing the powder while consuming little meals. He considers eating to be essential and avoids all whey protein products.
Nevertheless, he does take pre-workout vitamins. When Kali needs an extra pump, he uses the product because he enjoys the rush it provides him before intense leg and chest workouts.
