Kat Leone has always participated in sports. She has always been an active person who enjoyed being active and participating in different sports with her pals.
As a gymnast and All-Star cheerleader in high school, Kat also displayed her competitive nature. She lived a monotonous life of learning routines, attending competitions, and working out.
However, Kat’s interests started to shift after she received her high school diploma. She relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 16 to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
“That is where I enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I transferred to the Los Angeles campus when I got an internship with a clothing company down here.” – Kat Leone
Return to Fitness
Kat developed a career as a fashion designer over time, eventually rising to the position of design director. She yet felt that something was still missing from her life, despite her achievements.
Kat quickly concluded that she was missing the childhood sports and all the physical exercise that had kept her healthy and content.
Kat decided to start going to the gym in her spare time to start getting back in shape after realizing she couldn’t live without exercise.
“By the time I started working out again, I had pretty much stopped cheerleading.”
Juggling Business And Cross-fit
Kat came to discover CrossFit while looking for exercise activities and decided to give it a try. Since then, she hasn’t turned back.
Kat has gotten “hooked” on the CrossFit way of life ever since she participated in her first group exercise session. She set numerous personal records over the years and was a five-time CrossFit Regionals competitor, performing at the pinnacle of her sport.
In addition to all of this, she launched a clothing company that has become a big success over the years. Kat is an example of what commitment, hard effort, and a little self-confidence can bring, with an ambition that knows no bounds.
Training
Kat claims she has been working out consistently for years. She’s come to terms with the fact that she won’t always be inspired and prepared to “kill the workout.” She still gets up every morning and takes care of what needs to be done despite this.
The finest exercise regimen, in Kat’s opinion, is one that she can continuously follow despite difficulties. She remarked, “I treat it like a job. I confirm that others are depending on and anticipating my presence.
CrossFit Exercises
When it comes to her workouts, Kat frequently works out twice or sometimes three times a day. She might focus on her Olympic Lifts, mobility, and conditioning for several hours each day while preparing for the CrossFit games.
Unlike some CrossFitters, Kat prefers to switch between weight and volume exercises. She will therefore engage in a lot of training involving hard compound lifts for one week.
To improve her conditioning, she can reduce the load and raise the reps the next week.
Kat doesn’t need to do cardio in addition to her weightlifting sessions because her great exercises burn so many calories.
Nutrition
Kat makes sure to provide her body with the right nutrition to allow it to recuperate from the lengthy and tough workouts she does. These mainly consist of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and vital vitamins and minerals.
She attempts to eat 4-6 well-balanced meals per day. Kat takes vitamins while she’s on the run to make up for any nutritional gaps in her diet.
Due to the extreme demands of the sport, CrossFit competitors like Kat are renowned for being able to ingest large amounts of calories without gaining any weight.
Despite this, she avoids bingeing on junk food and consumes a lot of protein to maintain her athletic ability.
