Kate Middleton continues to charm the world with her slim figure and beauty. What does she eat to maintain her figure? Her former personal chef Darren McGrady provides us with insight into Kate’s diet. One will be surprised that it includes a favorite English dessert.
Kate Middleton and her slimness
Kate Middleton is 40 years old now. The Duchess of Cambridge is wife of Prince William and the couple share three children together. Despite giving birth to three kids, Kate continues to maintain her slim shape. She has normal weight for her height and has never fallen in the overweight or obese category even during her three pregnancies and deliveries.
Her beauty and great slim physique continues to enchant the world. People wonder what she eats to have such a wonderful body frame and shape. How is she able to maintain her figure so well even at the age of 40 when normally many women put on excess fat? Her former personal chef Darren McGrady has revealed what she eats in a day. Darren has talked about her diet plan that includes a famous and age old English dessert.
Kate and her diet
Kate Middleton has a varied but healthy diet. She balances her food in the day. She eats wholesome but does not exclude an old English high calories dessert which in fact is her favorite. Kate loves the traditional sweet dish of the UK: sticky toffee pudding. Darren explained that Kate is very fond of this sweet dish.
Toffee pudding is delicious but should be had in moderation because of its high caloric content. One serving of the pudding has 59.4 g of carbs and 14 g fats. Protein is 4 g. But calories in this serving amount to a whopping 375 calories!

But balance of eating helps us. If one restricts one’s favorite food dish, it leads to binging and overeating. Hence having the favorite food that has high calories in moderation is good and healthy rather than restricting it.
Everything in moderation
Some weight loss diets stress a lot and focus on food restrictions. The advocates of such restriction diets ask the slimmers to completely eliminate sugary foods, fatty foods and high calories foods from their diet. But this restriction only complicates matter. The slimmer who restricts such favorite foods tends to overeat, binge, and snack. This causes weight gain rather than weight loss.
Mayo Clinic health experts reveal that it is possible to have one’s favorite food items and yet lose weight. One should eat a varied diet. They can have everything but in moderation.
Besides toffee pudding, Kate has whole unprocessed foods to remain healthy and trim. At breakfast she likes oats that keep her filled up as well as provide her with the required energy to keep going throughout the day.
She has an lunch of organic foods and tried to consume more of raw foods. Her day time food is mainly plant based but at dinner time, she prefers to eat more of traditional English food.
