Harvey and his weight gain story
Harvey was born in May 2002 to Katie and retired football player, Dwight Yorke. He is autistic too. But Katie loves him immensely and makes all efforts to make him independent and healthy. At the school, they also encourage him to exercise and live independently. He now goes to the supermarket to pick up his own ingredients for dinner.
Earlier in December 2020, Katie had informed that son Harvey lost 4 kg in a week. This was possible due to the ready meals she had arranged for him. She also had put up some workout equipments in her fiance Carl Woods’ garage. She revealed to OK magazine:
‘We’ve got some gym stuff for him and put it all in Carl’s garage. Prep Kitchen are also going to send meals to his school.’
‘We want to try anything to help him lose his weight. He’s lost 4kg this week, so at least he’s lost something.’

Katie was forced also to put a padlock on their home refrigerator so that Harvey cannot reach his hands on the food there. She is aware that his excessive appetite can also kill him.
Talking to The Sun UK in November 2020, she had said:
‘It’s a cruel illness. He feels hungry all the time. Every time I feed him, it’s killing him.’
‘Even though it makes him happy, it’s cruel of me to do it. He needs to lose weight or he’ll end up dead. He doesn’t deserve that. I don’t want to lose him. He’s got his whole life ahead of him. I will do anything to help.’
